I got excited because I saw a UPS shipment show up for delivery Thursday.... but it’s from a numbered company .. so I’m guessing it’s a kickstarter. And apparently TELUS uses Canada post. I’m glad I still get door to doo mail service and my mail carrier is awesome and knows me.

How much did you sell your 7+4. I had somebody offer me 500, I’m in Toronto by the way
How much did you sell your 74
[doublepost=1537121590][/doublepost]How much did you sell your 7 for? My daughter has a 7+ and someone offered me 500 without it being posted anywhere. She’s getting my X And I’m going to the max
I sold mine for 500 but it was the 128GB, it was damaged at all 4 corners and the top right corner of the bezel had a chunk missing lol. Wasn't expecting top dollar but it was better than the $370 Apple offered me

I'm holding off on selling my 7+, I want to see if I like the Max enough to feel like it is worth the 2k. I generally upgrade every year and go through the same process during the 2 week return period, if I think the upgrade makes enough of a difference I keep it.

This year feels like the 6S, except for twice the cost and half the new features:D
That's the smart way to do it especially if you haven't interacted with the X on a daily basis. It is definitely not an optimal year to upgrade but in my case i was frustrated with the small size of the X especially when viewing video, the 7+ form factor is just plain boring at this point (i've had the 6, 6s, and 7), and i hate the 6s... the battery dies after a few hours of normal use. If next year is the iPhone 11 and they have something worth upgrading for i think i'd probably end up doing it.

I’ve noticed my 7+ not really doing too well on the battery side of things, even though it still is at 87% of original capacity. I tested the X out for a bit, didn’t like it so held on to the 7+. I probably will also swap to the 11 if there is actually something worthwhile.

I'm doing the same thing. I plan to switch back and forth between my 7plus and Xs Max this weekend to decide.

This has worked for me in the past however not this time. Just keeps saying the reference number is not correct.

I have a SG XS 256GB on its way (delivery sept 21st)

Just wondering if anybody has had their package held at a UPS CC to pick up early ? I’ve seen many people use this option over the years. My only issue is that my shipping address on the delivery is not my primary residence so it’s not the one on my drivers license. How will this affect me being able to pick it up at the UPS customer centre? Do they just need the name to be the same ?

I work for Fedex, your drivers licence needs to Match the address on pkg, I would assume that UPS is the same.

Phones and watch still on preparing to ship. Both cases to arrive by FedEx tomorrow.

Same here - case delivers by Fedex tomorrow, and my gold XS still says preparing to ship with delivery Friday. None of the mentioned UPS tracking tricks work for me so I'll assume it is indeed on its way based on others' shipping progress.

Both my cases have arrived in the FedEx sorting station in Mississauga this morning. Both iPhones and watch are preparing to ship. One of the cases was originally set to arrive on Sept 24th but now should be delivered by 130 pm tomorrow by FedEx. I hope the phones and watch ship today so I can get them Friday.

My case is also just arrived in the Mississauga facility, My tracking says delivered by 12pm tomorrow.

Ok, so I got a question. I legally changed my name. I reserved one Gold Xs through Reserve and Pick up (https://reserve-prime.apple.com/CA/en_CA/reserve/iPhone/availability?iUP=N). I reserved it under my formal name. Do they check your ID?
Bring certificate of name change just in case, but normally if it is close enough i.e Chinese given name is the official one, but an individual uses their English name almost everywhere or marriage license if that was the reason. Also, having the card you paid with and the order pulled up will likely remove any doubt if you get a particularly difficult person.

usually if you bring a piece of mail with the shipping address addressed to you you're fine.
I think it has to be bill or bank letter, but also taking two pieces of ID wouldn't hurt in addition to that.

I ordered a case from Lucrin and i don't think it'll arrive until next week, which means i'll definitely be keeping the original plastic covering on the phone once i take it out and i have a dustcloth pouch ill keep it in when not in use until i get the case. I've also decided to go without a screen protector for the first time ever, mostly because i'm frustrated with not being able to secure one from a big-name manufacturer for this Friday. I have AC+ and if the screen gets bad at a certain point i'll just get a screen replacement.

I ordered the belkin screen protector from Apple but it wouldn't be delivered until mid-October, which is too long for me. The only available options are those cheap protectors from eBay, everything else from the big manufacturers was sold out everywhere immediately. The case I have will protect the screen when not in use so i'm not as worried. I'm hoping the new glass has good scratch resistance.

Is everyone buying Apple cases? I love the colours and the feel of them, i just don't like how the stainless steel band and the back of the phone are completely covered. Clear cases are okay but i feel like those cases get debris a lot and it starts getting dirty/scratching the phone real fast.

I've ordered two Apple silicone cases for my iPhones. I've liked the grippiness of the silicone and how well they last and protect my iPhones in the past.

Just order a bunch of protectors on Amazon, return the ones that are a bad fit. I ordered a couple others in addition to the Spigen one just in case.

My leather case is in Mississauga (delivery tomorrow) and my gold XS is now about four hours from landing Anchorage as far as I can tell. Roll on Friday! :D

I actually seldomly use a case and never a screen protector.
