Supposedly the hurricane and typhoon caused the delay... this according to an Apple rep at the Apple store.
After waiting all day for nothing, I now have “Your package is being processed at the clearance agency”

What phone did you order? Mine got here today after a lot of uncertainty today. Phone didn’t get to Calgary until 10:30am but my phone delivered in edmonton around 3:30pm
Was hoping we would all have happy endings today and that all of this tracking nonsense would be worth it in the end, maybe Apple will get them to ship out tomorrow for you all like during the iPhone 7 launch
Update! Saturday delivery has been requested. We’ll see what happens.

AS of this morning, Tracking shows it in NS.
I had it shipped to work so I am not too keen on it being tried to be delivered today as my workplace is only open for part of the day. and I am not there at all

I didn’t know that UPS can deliver on Saturday. How were you able to arrange delivery today? I’m not sure who to contact to arrange that. I do have a call scheduled with Apple support this morning 845 am to talk to them about my frustration with the delivery this year. Zero out of the three things I ordered when preorders opened up and scheduled to be delivered on the first day made it to me.
UPS charges extra for Saturday delivery. The sender has to arrange it. So Apple requested it I guess. You can talk to them about it and see what they say.
If you sign up for UPS my choice you can redirect the package or have them hold it for pickup.
Shockingly all my packages just got delivered literally now as I was on the phone with Apple support. They are refunding the cost of one of my cases and sending me a coupon as an apology for the delay. Thanks Apple.
My phone is still AWOL. I see some of you were still getting them today. Does this service have to be requested from Apple or has Apple requested that all iPhone/watches be delivered today?
Now they are in my City, at least I shouldn't have any further delays

Moved to Free Zone...It wasn’t, it was out for delivery.
Failed deliver attempt, customer not available...they lied, I watched my front door all afternoon.
Will deliver to access point.
Not yet received at access point.
Not eligible for access point drop off, will retry on Monday.
Delivered. Where????
On sat am, I drove to the access point, where it was ineligible to be received.
I helped the nice lady at George’s Convenience store in Markham look thru the piles of boxes. There it was!!!
Summary: UPS can move stuff thru 4 countries, but they just can’t get it to your door. Which of course is the whole point of being a courier service.

I was on the phone with apple when my packages were all delivered to my condo. So it happened without my intervention. It is useful to call apple support thought because they said they’d credit me for my case I bought and also send me a coupon for use via the apple store app.
