Destination scan means it’s out for delivery (on the truck). At least that’s what it showed on my tracking.
If you don’t get it today, call Apple tomorrow morning.

Any one in Calgary needing a xs max case, I have a free one for you. It's the ringke onyx from Amazon.
If anyone wants to know my original order hasn't changed status since
09/21/2018 14:22 We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-UPS broker. / As requested, the package was transferred to a Free Trade Zone or a non-UPS broker.
On the phone for the 5th time to see if they can actually help any?
Both Apple and UPS are taking the approach to wait and see when it will appearWow that is brutal. Have you spoken with Apple Support, I would want some major compensation for that.
For you XS Max people with no AppleCare+, just a heads up that if you break the back glass and want to get it 'fixed' (a replacement) its $880.....
no definitely not, i have AC+ just in case anywaysOh please don't tell me you just smashed your phone........
90 days for theft, damage, loss and extra year of warranty after standard warranty. Also: if you used an AMEX, you might have coverage for accidental damage. I think mine says 60 days.
I know a friend that spilled red wine in her MBP and Amex covered the repairs.

Sweet baby Jeebus! I have an XS and I’m definitely getting AC+
That's exactly what they did. Apple has been maxxing out on profit generation from hardware and actual products (it's not everyday they develop a completely new line of product that's as successful as the Apple Watch). Therefore the only way to increase profits outside of developing new products is to provide services that are paid for. Apple Care + is amazing for them, considering that a vast majority of those who buy it don't have to use it. They know that for laptops, the vast majority dont have problems the first 3 years, therefore they are safe. For the phones, they've determined 2 years. Of course sometimes they have to replace devices, but their doing so at Apple's own manufacturing costs for parts, which is super cheap for them. So when you pay a replacement deductible of $129+tax for a new phone, they give you a new phone which at their cost is probably something like $500. BUT they also get your broken phone back, which has all of the internals working perfectly and can absolutely be transported into another device that'll be used to replace the next person's device. They aren't losing money anywhere any way you look at it.You can see why some countries like Australia have a mandatory 2yr consumer protection warranty law!
I’m starting to think these exhorbitant costs for repair are completely unfounded and unreasonable by Apple. Devices are not really “repaired” in store any longer (have iPhones ever been?), their replaced: and I’m unsure if done at Apple’s costs.
So ... is the increasing out of warranty repair costs a deterrent for customers and a way to force them into AppleCare+ extended warranty for peace of mind, how much service revenue climbs are feom AppleCare+ & Out Of Warranty repairs every quarter since 2016?
I’m very sure Apple doesn’t measure this internally and that is to avoid lawsuits!!
