No delivery attempt today so I went to the Apple store at Yorkdale and got a white 256 instead of the gold (prefer it now that I have it). Now I return the #LostwithUPS phone that still says its
"09/21/2018 14:22 We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-UPS broker. / As requested, the package was transferred to a Free Trade Zone or a non-UPS broker."
I called Apple I called UPS and no had had any answers. I read your post about the free case and an apple card and nothing was offered

I think they should have given the option of 2 physical sims like on the Chinese model, my local carrier (Wind lul) doesn't support e-sim and when I travel e-sim also isn't an option.
Basically identical apart from sim-tray and networking chip

I am wondering about this too. I am thinking the smart way would be to make your “primary” carrier an eSim. Then when travelling, I can do another eSim (if they support or just a physical sim.
I’m gonna guess it’ll be a while before TELUS let’s us use eSim too, though I expect it’ll be sooner than Wind! I really can’t wait to only carry 1 phone.
Maybe by the time you get e-sim Wind will actually give me more than 1 bar of signal
Haha, I couldn’t survive on wind. I travel too much and their limitations are just too much. But personal preference and the fact that I’m paying out the wazoo.
I unfortunately missed the 60$ 10gb deals from all the carriers, hopefully something like that happens again
So did I. I was still on contract with my 8+ and at that point wasn’t planning on getting a new phone this year, so didn’t feel like paying it off to get the deal.
Does anyone know if apple stores replenish stock every morning? I’m pretty certain I want the regular xs over the max now.
Yes it was charged within hours of using Apple Pay to purchase both iPhones and the watch.
Based on past years yes they restock daily.
My phone is in Anchorage and delivery changed from the 24th to the 25th. So I checked the Apple store app and there was stock at Yorkdale. Picking it up this afternoon.

Thanks I noticed every store replenished at 6am across the board. Relieved because I can’t wait to switch to the xs from the max. Size isn’t the problem. It’s way too heavy and how much I have to schimmy up and down the phone, I’m playing finger gymnastics all day.
Just switched from the max to xs. Much better form factor. Max screen was nice but it was way to heavy and my pinky was tired.
time to lift some weights, never heard of that complaint lol.
I've been using the Max for 2 days now, absolutely in love with this phone and won't upgrade until they come out with a 4K screen or something markedly improved over the current screen. I've come to realize that the most important thing to me for a phone is the display and being bug-free. The iPhone Max hits both those requirements.
damn, mine is still not yet "Out for delivery" !!! It is in my city, but not yet on the truck!! this is getting ridiculous! Damn UPS !!

Likely you’ll get it today. Mine came when tracking and a call to UPS said it wasn’t coming.

Why don’t you see if you can pick one up at the store, then return the one that comes in the mail?
