[doublepost=1561487061][/doublepost]This happens to me as well. I drive a 2018 Mazda3 sport and am running iOS 13 beta 2 on my iPhone X. It's so annoying. Even the bluetooth wouldn't work but it's working now for the most part, but no CarPlay :( My CarPlay works perfectly fine when my sister plugs in her iPhone XS running iOS 12.4 so I know it is the beta causing the issue. Worked fine on beta 1.

This solution (for Mazdas, specifically) is mentioned elsewhere... but try deleting the car from your Bluetooth settings. Then CarPlay will work with b2. (This was the case, anyway, on my CX-5.)

It’s working for me but the Music app lists some album artists as Various Artists rather than the actual album artist. I had this problem with iOS 12 too.

Not entirely the same issue (and I’m in a Chevy Cruze) but I am having a couple of issues with CarPlay:
  1. Constantly tries to switch from CarPlay to a BT connection to the head unit. (Removed the BT connection from the car and phone to resolve that)
  2. Google Maps does not auto switch between light and dark modes as it should
  3. Google Maps is now taking a long time to properly orient map direction when beginning a route (10-15 seconds)
  4. Opening a CarPlay enabled app on the phone used to open the corresponding app on the car display prior to iOS 13 but no longer does this. (I.e. if I had messages open when the phone Was connected to the car then messages would open on the car’s display)
So, no... you are not alone in having issues with CarPlay.

I drive a chevy and I don’t pair on BT anymore for that reason. My car had issues with various releases such as iOS 12. But around 12.1 they fixed it. I had issues with 11.3 also. I guess Chevy CarPlay is a little more finicky than the others?

Same for me. CarPlay will not display full screen on my 2019 X3.

Same on my 2018 430i. I think it's a BMW issue as they restrict the size with the split screen view. Apparently some of the newer versions of the iDrive can be hacked to go into fullscreen but the version I have doesn't even let me do that. Disappointed given the new wide screen view looks great!

2019 Subaru Legacy/Outback. CarPlay works well for the most part. The only issue seems to be if I using Navigation mode in Split View and then end Navigation mode, CarPlay stops updating both maps in Split View Mode and in the Now Playing Mode the current song isn't updated. Maps will still update in full screen however.

I've actually entered two separate bugs for this.

Having a similar issue in my 2016 Ford Focus titanium. Plug in my phone, CarPlay interface loads up then crashes back to my cars default interface. Worked perfectly fine in iOS 12.

somewhat related. Don't you have to pair with bluetooth to get the "parked car" locations marked?

Not entirely true. I don't get notifications that my parked car has been updated, but if I open Maps my parking spot is, indeed, marked on the map – even without Bluetooth. (I connect to CarPlay with USB, Bluetooth for this car is off.)

With CarPlay, yes...disconnecting the physical connection does it the same as disconnecting from Bluetooth on any other car.

I have the same issue on my 2019 MB E450. CarPlay came up, but then crashes after about 15 seconds. If I reboot COMAND (MB Infotainment System), it will then work. But after a few connects and disconnects of the phone, it starts crashing again.

My wife’s 2016 GMC doesn’t have any issues with it, so it must be something MB has to work out upon iOS 13’s release.

CarPlay broken in my 2018 Accord
Yep, I'm having a ton of issues in my 2018 Accord Sport.
I was reading on the Honda Forum how great ios13 CarPlay was, with screenshots etc.
When I tried it, I get maybe a 10% success rate.
As soon as I hook my iPhone X in, the CarPlay logo comes up, then disappears. If I press the icon, the screen goes black.
I try combinations of rebooting the phone and pre-starting apps like Maps and every once in awhile I get it running for the drive.

CarPlay is broken on my 2019 Accord. Same problems as above post. Was great before beta. No rhyme or reason for when it will connect.

UPDATE
Works once I deleted Bluetooth connection with car.
Only issue is incomplete sentences during navigation.

I wouldn't say broken, but there are definitely some issues. Dark Mode at night, maps stays white during multi-screen use. However, maps do not track correctly, you must enter the application for GPS sync and dark mode. Inconsistent SIRI suggestion buttons, home/gas/work.. they show when they want to and pressing them sometimes causes SIRI to jump on screen and then go away just as quickly. All of which I've filled reports for. Car Play setup for me is through Honda Fit 2018 Sport, stock.

Not sure if its just me but since updating to beta 2 Carplay is all but broken. Im aware that this is a beta just wondering if im the only one experiencing this or if there are any workarounds others have found to resolve this.

Essentially when I plug it in my Mazda recognizes it as carplay but then after a few seconds, it tells me that carplay has crashed. It happens most of the time unless i restart my phone and then plug it in. Im almost wondering if spotify is causing it because it seems more often than not that Spotify tries to autoplay when carplay is connected.

I reported this a while back, too. I have a 2019 Ram Limited and here's what I found works for me. Plug the phone in before turning on the car. I don't know why, but i don't get that dreaded CarPlay failed.
