Caudabe Veil short review

I have both the Peel and Caudabe, and they are similar in quality. The Peel actually cost more!

I wonder why all these .35mm case doesn't have the bottom covered (or partial). I'm sure it's not that hard...even Desmay figured it out how to do it.
What do you guys use for the bottom to protect from scratches or dings while in your front pocket (shield)? I wish someone could come up with something that plugs into the lightning (open headjack), super thin and flushed to frame...just take it off when it's not in your pocket or you need a charge.
I've been using my Caudabe for the greater part of the last year and I have zero dings or scratches on the bottom of my iPhone 5 or 5s. It's not really an issue for me.
Same here. No issues after several months. I got a new one for my 5s and it's holding up fine too.
Just got my Caudabe veil case today. I was wondering if anybody has tried it with the iPhone dock yet?

I guess it depends on the person. Someone on another thread just said they felt it was slippery. I've been using mine for months and I think it provides better grip than a naked iPhone while still feeling like a naked iPhone. Best of both worlds, IMO.
I understand the material is like a plastic. Did you have problems with scratches or scuffs around the sides with Caudabe Veil? Should I put a film protector around the sides? Thanks!
No issues here. It's a flexible type of plastic. Invariably the case will scrape the side of my phone when I remove it and I don't have any scratches on my phone to show for it.
Where do you recommend to buy (caudabe.com or Amazon)? For some reasons, Amazon reviews are not that great and some issue with cut outs. Thanks!
i would always recommend amazon. their return policy is great, and they ship from amazon warehouses for this item. this is especially quick if you have prime membership.
i purchased monday night and am expecting delivery later this afternoon. i was concerned about cutouts after seeing a few pics online. but i guess we will see.

just buy it already! There are a bunch of positive reviews on Amazon. I have no idea what issue you're mentioning with the cutouts because mine are fine.I already have a lot of cases for my iPhone 5s. I've been burned from eBay for similar .35mm cases before (quality, sharp edges, etc). I recently bought a Peel case that's supposed to be the same quality as Caudabe The Veil. However, when I received the case, it was warped around the volume/switch buttons and sharp edges around camera hole. It's just the hassle of waiting, returning, and getting a refund. There's no warping with my Caudabe. The cutouts are good with no rough or sharp edges.
I've used several .35mm cases and Caudabe is the best. Of course, it offers minimal protection.
I was just joking with you. Totally understand. I'm a bit of a case-a-holic too. I would post pics of my phone inside the case, but I don't have anything to take pics with other than my phone. Several people here have already posted pics.
The good thing about Caudabe that I mentioned earlier in the thread is the customer service. They were pretty awesome the one time I had to deal with them. Maybe that's a reason to buy directly from them rather than through Amazon. Although Amazon is pretty easy to deal with for returns. I've never checked the return policy at caudabe.com.

Hey jpcarro. Thanks for the link...that enough pics for me. I'm going to order from Amazon today. I have an extra Best Skins Ever film that I haven't used, the bottom piece film is perfect cut for the bottom opening.

Try the Peel case. You can buy it at www.buypeel.com. I just bought one last week but received an older mold (warped and sharp edges). I contacted them and they're sending me a replacement on the way.
I ordered the Caudabe The Veil (Wisp) from Amazon today. A lot of members here like it over the Peel. Personally, I don't mind the Caudabe logo for better quality, nice cut nd no sharp edges.
