Ok, glad I just found this thread. I thought my iPad was having hardware problems but turns out it's the glass screen protector trolling with me. Hope there is a solution for this...

Do you have an 11" or 12.9"?

11" I forget what brand glass protector though as I went to a store in Asia that applied the protector for me. It's full coverage with a small hole cutout for the camera, Facetime works every time. Only problem is touch input/scrolling.

Oh I forgot to add I got a new AMFilm one and it functions 99% with no issues, I will occasionally have an issue with the top letters (Q-P) on the on-screen keyboard via my finger... but the Apple Pencil works great with no issues and my fingers do work fine 99% of the time. Only a couple hiccups here or there, but no-where near as bad as it first was.

Kallum.

Tempted to try the Mediadevil one. Does anyone happen to have used both JETech ones and the Mediadevil? How does the swipe-ability compared? Oleophobic capability? The only thing that kept me dealing with touch hiccups with JETech right now is how much better the glass surface is compared to bare screen - it's smoother and more easily cleaned. I don't get why Apple couldn't make their screen surface like this, the bare screen is stickier, so the swipe isn't as easy and it attracts dirts and finger oils like crazy.

The slicker the screen is, the worse the pencil experience is. Which is why the bare screen is stickier.

I don't see any unanswered questions aside from the ones cssywith1i posted a matter of hours ago. I feel they have been answered earlier in the thread and anyone is welcome to contact us directly. In terms of specifically comparing against other brands, our policy has always been to not do that. It's not a classy move and we wouldn't do it unless there was a very justifiable reason.

- Swipeability is good as it has some relation to surface hardness. Apple Pencil experience is also good in my opinion. Both experiences have been kindly commented on earlier in this thread by one of our customers.
- Glass protectors are better for fingerprinting as they have an oleophobic layer. However, I believe that our Ultra-Tough edition material has better resistance to fingerprints than regular glossy plastic protectors. That's simply a hunch based on almost a year testing the material (and 9 years selling plastic screen protectors). Fingerprints on regular plastic protectors were always a little irritating, whereas, they don't bother me on the Ultra Tough edition. Our aim is to add an actual anti-fingerprint layer on the next-generation material that will hopefully launch 2nd half of 2019.

If you stay in touch with us over the next few months you'll see we're actively involved in adding advanced materials to our products, and (in combination with my last post) it might give some clue as to why our screen protectors are (apparently) conducting better than others. I'd really like to be known here for providing reliable information rather than spiel, and it's for this reason that I'm being intentionally vague.

Is there actually any glass screen protector that works?! Which one? JETech?

I’ve tried a bunch and as far as I can tell none of the glass ones work reliably.
I’m waiting for a Belkin or some similar brand to release one.

I received my Mediadevil protectors today. Previously I had tried 3 x JETech glass protectors. I have a 12.9" and was experiencing the odd swiping issue, more pronounced with certain actions at certain spots on the screen. Keyboard and Apple Pencil worked flawlessly, but the swiping issues ruined the experience, albeit being significantly better than the 11" stories I've read.

The Mediadevil was very easy to install. I managed to get a piece of dust under it, but the process was really simple to lift the corner using the stickers provided (and following their instructions), remove the dust and place the protector back on...you wouldn't know the difference. I haven't had any issues with touch sensitivity, and apple pencil works flawlessly. FaceTime isn't an issue, but nor was it with the JETech either. The film is thicker than your standard plastic protectors, but application is similar. A really good fit to the screen, and the pencil feels great on it (better than the glass protector in my opinion). Fingerprints are still an issue, but I have issues with fingerprints no matter what I use (except for Zagg glass protectors that I have used on my iPhone, but they are pricey).

Overall really very happy with the Mediadevil so far. Support is awesome too. I have only been using it for 6 hours, but at this stage I would highly recommend their product.

Looking forward to trying Mediadevil on my 12.9. Hopefully they will arrive soon

I ended up placing another order but with express shipping this time. I couldn't wait to get the JETech off...new order arrived in Australia in 4 days! At least I'll have some spares lol

I didn't take the express shipping and probably should have. Mine was shipped a week ago now.

Mine was only shipped 4 days prior to the second order, but knowing Australia Post and the fact that we’re leading into Christmas, I became a little impatient.

Mine shipped out a week ago Tuesday. The wait is killing me - I feel like I’ve been waiting a month. Fingers are crossed it’s here before the end of the week.

Received my Mediadevil 11” screen protectors yesterday. Super fast shipping to Atlanta via DHL (I paid extra for this but it was worth it IMHO). Screen protector went on perfectly using rubber bands to first align it and hinge method to ensure proper placement during install. No dust particles and just a few bubbles which were pretty easy to remove using the supplied plastic card. Overall extremely pleased with both the product and the great customer support I received during the ordering process (thanks Callum!). Now just waiting on my icarbon skins to arrive for the back and edges of the iPad and I’ll be in good shape!
