Network Problem
Sorry, WhatsApp encountered a network problem. Try restarting the application and make sure you have a working Cellular or Wifi connection.

I'm still suffering from this!

Ditto. Was working perfectly fine until I updated to the latest version.

BlackBerry OTA link

any of WhatsApp fans/users here have a bf/gf/wife/husband who is a blackberry user? would love to give you a beta link for them to try our BlackBerry app which is merging the two mobile worlds :)

PM me for the BlackBerry OTA link

Was wondering if you could send me OTA link so I could test whether it works from my iphone-girlfriend's Blackberry. Greatly appreciate it.

I intend to leave feedback explaining what experience we both have with it.

thanks

Messages still popping up and then disappearing. I don't think it's dropped as they are delivered but you can't read them when you enter whatsapp - they just disappear! :(

EDIT: It's gotten a lot more dire. I'd say only 70% of messages get though/are received ok. 30% are lost in the wild......

I thought you made this compatible with iPod touch's? With the latest update, it's back to being iPhone only. My Nephew never got the new update, so he deleted it in an attempt to reinstall it, and now can't download it again. What gives?

Edit: They responded to a tweet of mine with a link to their blog...

Which says it's coming back in 2.4.

I love this app but is there a way to make the text of what you type wrap around on-screen so that you can see it all? If I write more than a few words I'm unable to see what I have typed and can't check for typos. Very annoying.

Sorry that I add to this; but looking at your Screen Shot I can see that you are using T-Mobile, well, I can tell you that I have seen your problems in the past, now I'm an At&T user and I'm on 3G, but before mid October, when I was using EDGE on T-Mobile I saw that using WhatsApp and other APPS.

It could be a lot of issues, but in my case, was the constant band switches, between EDGE/edge/GPRS, every time it switched I lost Data connection, but most of the time was the lack of Voice/Data connections at the same time, and I can tell you that every time I had the error, I opened the Safari app just to see, and it gave me the no connection error also, once Safari opened a page I could go to WhatsApp and then I had no issues.

I'm not saying that this is exactly your issue, but just my past experiences, so far on 3G I haven't had a single issue or dropped push or message in 2 months that I have switched to AT&T and 3G.

With the help of this information I have cured my problem.

T-Mobile UK are infact port blocking to ensure fair usage on their base Web and Walk Plan. I have upgraded to Web and Walk Plus and as a result the port blocks are lifted and I get a higher data allowance!

Result! :):):):):):):):):)

I love whatsapp and the lack of usernames and pins - A lot of my friends are on BB - do you have a ETA to when the bb version will be out of beta?

thanks
