As an American, I cannot agree more.

Yea as an American I’m kind of ashamed of the culture of ignorant people suing over this stuff. Jelly scrolling is a thing on all tabs and has always been, the only reason people are talking about it is media coverage. It’s due to the screen tech and is normal. Op needs to research before posting or he is just trolling, either way, that sob post was hilarious. Like the part about getting nauseous, that was a nice touch. Maybe a bit over the top to be believable but as lies go it’s not bad.

Looool this is an underrated comment. Also pretty sure OP is trolling, no one, no matter how stupid, would seriously write something like that and expect to be taken seriously. But it was kind of funny. I needed a good laugh.
haha thanks. It wasn't until OP put the emotional trauma that got me suspicious of who the real person was.

Can't slip by us OP. We're Apple owners! ?

The emotional suffering from paying nearly a thousand dollars (even if you can get it back) for this subpar product. The motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, migraines; and a myriad of other symptoms. Some people may have missed time from work due to the symptoms and should be compensated for their lost wages as well as for the pain & suffering. It also affects peoples mental health having to reach a tough decision about whether to return this device, for myself it has caused sleepless nights. When people are sleep deprived they are functionally similar to somebody who has drank over the legal limit. People may start getting into car accidents due to this. Pilots who use this in portrait mode (as advertised) in the cockpit might get into a plane crash and die because of the jelly scrolling distorting the flight map. This is an iPad from hell.
I don’t mean to offend you but I laughed pretty hard after reading this.

If you’re not trolling, I really recommend you to take the short, easy route: return it. This is not as serious issue as other Apple has faced.

Not sure if a class-action is required at this point, I mean I returned the ones I purchased no hassle and got a full refund. I can wait for mini 7 once the issue has been addressed as I have a mini 5. Is it disappointing; yes, did it cause some inconveniences; yes, did I loose sleep; no. It’s tech and not some personal issue like say health, major finances, etc.

Don't be stupid. "Jelly Scroll" is also called Display Scan Skew, and it's a common effect in display technology. Your monitor probably does it and you don't even realize it. It's not a defect.

That’s the thing. People are so entitled. It’s tech. If someone is getting all worked up over tech it’s probably time to see a therapist and start taking chill pills.

Someone please tell me Apple can countersue on a nuisance suit like this, and doesn't just have to roll over and take it.

Can we sue for having our tax dollar funded justice infrastructure abused for petty nonsense like this? Can we sue over delays to hearings on serious matters because someone needs to even take the time to read the filings long enough enough to dismiss this out of hand?

Honestly, I don’t see a lawyer taking on the case to begin with. Apple’s not forcing anyone to buy the mini 6 and there’s a 14-day return policy if someone’s not happy with theirs. For those affected, this isn’t an issue that manifests itself over time. It’s obvious from first use.

I'd hope you're right, but there's always an ambulance chaser somewhere hoping to force a settlement...

LMAO, no wonder the whole world thinks all Americans are idiots, with all the lawsuits. Hot coffee warning anyone? ?
Sounds more like someone is trying to make some quick cash. Good luck with that, keep us updated on the progress.

One thing I keep wondering about… who in the world is stupid enough to keep using an iPad if it makes you motion sick, nausea, vomiting and all those other symptoms? I’d think anyone able to think just a little bit, would be smart enough to turn it off and not use it anymore.
Have you heard of the lawsuit, where some US lady microwaved her cat to “dry it”, then sued the microwave company for millions, that there was not written in manual, it should not be used for drying pets? And she won!

since then, I feel not many things can really surprise me :)

I am traumatized by the OP’s post. I bought ipad mini 6, i feel he purposely put me off my purchase, which made me emotionally unstable and traumatized.
I feel sadness from my purchase, thanks to OP. Can I sue him?

Nice try OP, but you won't get very far. I wonder if you even know all that suffering has to be medically diagnosed, treated and documented. You know what a doctor would tell you to do? Yeah, you guessed it ... good luck, dude.

I’m compiling everything together to file a Class Action Lawsuit over this. If anyone wants to partake please comment with the issues this jelly scrolling has caused to your well being. Feel free to send me PM’s as well, if we’re able to win this we could make them fix the problem. I hope we one day get the mini 6 without this issue, and this is a way we can make it happen.

Just stop it already. Every single person who bought one is still in the return window and will be for a week more. No one was harmed or lost money.

Good grief.

If it’s a situation that manifests after the 14 day return window I can see a case such as with the butterfly keyboard if Apple refused to replace or repair the device. With this issue it’s evident within that return window, if the issue gets worse then maybe there is a potential case considering the other requirements go on deaf ears. At this point it’s a failure to launch issue.
