I believe this speaks to the overall lack of quality Apple Watch accessories. People wanted Click because they were supposed to actually match the various variations of the Apple Watch. I know I held off on buying any adapters because I wanted an aluminum space grey to match my SG sport. At this point, I'm just about ready to stick with the sport band that watch came with. Very disappointing all around.

That was my draw to Click. I held off figuring that I wanted to see just how much they actually matched the finish before throwing any money at it. People ought to be a bit more upset about it. Their updates talked about how they were delaying so they could precisely match the finish, and that they were fine tuning the fit. Some of the pictures look like they aren't evenly machined.

The problem with Kickstarter projects is that sometimes groups get significantly over-funded, and they don't know how to handle the size of the demand. Often times ideas sound great, but the people dealing with it don't really know the ins and outs of manufacturing, and end up in way over their heads. That seems to be the case with Click.

It's sad because I think it would fill a need. There aren't any Sport adapters. I'm one of those people that cringes at seeing the mismatched finish of SS adapters on the sports watches. I like the sports band, but would also like to be able to dress up the watch a little. Right now, I just end up not wearing it at times, and using a regular watch.

There may be an element of these, but the real problem the Click team never got right was the actual design itself - or more correctly, the many changing versions with strap width, materials, colour etc.

When people were flying blind before the Apple Watch shipped, that was always going to be some challenge. You can't tell me once Apple actually released the drawings and dimensions of the official adapters - in early May - they didn't have something concrete to work on!!

Even if you started from scratch with the info from "Made for Apple Watch" in May, surely you'd get the dimensions right in a month or two, making that end of July, while searching for manufacturing partners with your big bag of cash.

I think Monowear shipped theirs in late May. You could argue the colour of the adapters didn't quite match, but overall the fit was fine, the straps were good, and everyone moved on, relatively satisfied. Ok, not springbars either, but that was a full four months ago.

I just think Click had run out of plausible excuses a long time ago.

I have sadly just emailed to cancel my order. The latest posts on the website say that UK users have been charged customs fees (due to incorrect paperwork on the postage and unit price costs) which have doubled the cost of a unit (which is still poorly constructed).

I wonder if I will get my money back?

Incidentally I ordered a 42mm space grey aluminium adaptor with screwdriver on eBay and it arrived in two days.

Any chance for some pics here or in the adapters only thread?

I will do my best Broadbean. They look okay. As discussed previously all the pressure of the strap will be on two tiny screws, they fit well. I have not bought a strap to go on them yet. I cannot argue for £9 including near next day postage.

No response yet to my cancellation or request for refund...

After reading mralmostpopular's post about Click being up for sale I doubt I will ever see money or Clicks.

The current trend of UK purchasers comments on the Kickstarter page is to not even bother paying the customs fees because the paperwork is incorrect - just leave them at the Royal Mail depot uncollected as the quality is that bad and buy from eBay/Amazon because it is cheaper than the custom fee! That says it all really.:(

I just received my space grey click adapters and thought I'd share some thoughts and pictures. I was an early backer so I waited about 4 months for these. For $15 I got two aluminum adapters (upgraded from polymer) and two bands. The bands were a space grey link and sport leather dark brown. Its hard to beat that price but I only got it because of backer rewards. On the adapters, the color is spot on. It appears to be the same anodized aluminum and I'm very impressed. The link band also matches perfectly. The adapters slide in and click easily. They fit is fine but they do look a little off. Not very noticeable and I will definitely be using them. I can post more pictures if you have any requests.

Thanks for those! I will be perfectly happy if my space grey adaptors are like that. Is that 42mm?

They are not perfect, thats for sure. But the color is so exact it makes that bearable. For the $15 I payed for everything I got I am very pleased.

This is a good sign. Maybe they will turn things around eventually. The silver ones don't seem to match in color or fit based on pictures people have been posting.

The adapters on the metal band look ok, but the ones on the leather strap? I would not accept those!

This company is horrendous. I ordered an aluminum adaptor in April, and have heard nothing since from the company. I e-mailed them twice - once in May and once in October asking where the adaptors were and if I could be issued a refund, but I never heard anything back from them. Not a peep.

Now, people are saying they're getting clicks that don't fit, look funny, are upside down, etc. This doesn't inspire any confidence in me about the company. Stay as far away from them as you can.

I preordered in April rather than funding the Kickstarter and I eventually got my money back after a week of sending the email.

UK buyers are reporting bad fit/finish, made upside down, paperwork is wrong so UK buyers are getting charged double the cost because of customs fees.

Best walk away from this one folks. Sorry.

I go back to the Kickstarter page to read the comments and updates once in a while. It's really interesting to note a few gave it 8 out of 10. Then you see the photos they post...

I'm still waiting. I consider it a poor investment. Good thing I didn't invest too much. I've been lucky with the Kickstarter projects I've funded, but this one was just a disaster.
