On thing I have to say. I expected a better match on the finish. It's not fit, considering how much time they took it,should be perfect. And while its not that far off, it's off.

I would say the bands are probably nicer than the adapters.
Yeah, these are supposed to match the Sport watch. My packing slip definitely lists them as the aluminum ones but they're... shinier than they should be. It may be the same kind of metal but it is not brushed like the watch.

Edit:
I agree, at least about my sport leather band. This'll probably end up being my new "daily" band for at least a little while. Not sure how I feel about the link band. I'm going to go stop by a watch shop later and see if they'll take a link or two out for me and I'll re-evaluate.

yeah sadly I have to say I am starting to think a few college kids got rich off us trying to get adaptors that they just sourced from china like everyone else anyways. The pictures show an obvious difference in the color or texture or both.

Yeah, they got us. The finish is noticeably different in color. This is a classic too little, too late scenario. If they were going to take this long they should have been superior in quality.

I ordered a space black adapter, we will see how they did with that if it ever ships. They never mention that finish in updates.

So I got mine in yesterday... they're ok. Nothing spectacular and nothing that should have had delays like they did. They slide very awkwardly into the watch and they don't appear to "click" in place like the Apple bands do. I will say they seem fairly flush with the watch with just the slightest amount of wiggle room. Very minor complaint but they packaging shown on their Kickstarter page was nothing like what I received... it was a printed card, folded in half with the adapters "glued" to the inside of it. I really like the look of them, though - they seem very... "Apple" in their appearance.

I ordered the SS version and I am optimistic that the finish will be a good fact. I was wondering though, how smoothly does it slide into the AW? And does it fit perfectly? None of my non-OEM bands slide in as smoothly as the OEM adapters. Thanks.

Thanks for asking, I totally forgot to even mention it. They're not the smoothest. 2 of my 4 will only go in/out on one direction on the watch. The edges aren't exactly perfect either. Nothing immediately noticeable but if you look at it you can see a bit of overhang on the corners of the watch.

Bummer. I was actually hoping that the "kids" would deliver a superior product given all of the delays, more for them than for me. At this point I already have enough watch bands and the click adapters and bands are extras. This was the first (and probably only) kickstarted project Ive ever backed and I was hoping it would be a better experience. Ce la vie!

Meh. Thanks for the pictures. If the adapters aren't a good match for my silver AWS, I think I'm going to try to cancel my preorder. I have some adapters from Amazon that were cheaper, and also not a good match (finish-wise), but work well.

I don't mind the non-matching, I just thought it would be nice to have a set that did match.

Hope people who get theirs (in all finishes) will continue to post with photos and reviews to see if there is a consistency one way or the other. I've held off telling my friend with her aluminum sport AW about them until I see what you guys think.

Yah everyone who gets them in here take a few mins and post up some pics without filters shot in good light. Would be helpful. I'd like to see what the space grey look like. The pictures posted of the AWS look like the adaptor is made for SS not aluminum.

Not happy with them either, one set of adaptors don't even work. I will say their link band isn't bad just wish it was slightly bigger.

Their link band is the same link band EveryAsian link band seller sell an. It's a step below the hoco band. I bet I can even tell you the weight :)

That's not to say it's bad. It's just widely available. At least they didn't gouge the price on it.

Well, I guess we know why every picture they took was such low quality, and why their own website doesn't have a link to the picture page. I'm emailing them for a refund now!

I ordered a space grey alum adapter. I'll keep the pre-order and post a review / pictures when I finally get it.

I ordered a space grey 42mm aluminium and I have not had any postage notifications.

I understand these things are difficult to organise for professionals so I am completely understanding that students might be given the runaround. Still... it is difficult to not get weary of the delays.

What was the point of making them out of aluminum if they don't match the finish of the sport watch?

I have an early stainless steel adapter I got on ebay, and it looks like the exact same color of these aluminum ones

It looks like raw (unanodized) Aluminum. And rather crudely CNC'd IMO.

What a letdown.
