11th has been and gone.

Come to think of it they didn't specify 2015.

Who would have thought watchOS 2 would be out before "the first watchband adapter" - what a joke.

I was curious if you guys had started receiving your adapters and bands yet so checked in here since it looked like some activity on the thread. Guess not. I went to the Facebook website and was looking at the last update photos and am confused. Are you guys seeing the same colored band where supposedly there are other colors identified? http://www.get-click.com/photos/ Weird. And they made a note on the update page (Sept. 8, #46) that for the photos they used "old, leftover, unassembled samples. The finishes of these adapters match our final adapters, but may seem slightly off position in some of these photos as a result of this." Why wouldn't you take photos with a final product. Again, weird.

I'm kind of surprised that given the vast number of sport watches sold that others haven't made the aluminum finished adapters at least. And now with so many sport colored metals coming out, I personally would only wear a sport band with these as you don't see an adapter. I'm not a fan of different metals and can understand wanting a matching adapter. I seriously hope all you guys who have waited so long get something you are happy with in the end.

I made a big deal before I got the Watch Sport that shiny adapters would stick out. I'm no longer worried about that anymore and while it might be nice to have a "matching" adapter, I think it's more important to have one that fits better. The contrast of matte/brushed and shiny can work quite well, and there's no real issue between mating aluminum/aluminium and stainless steel as far as I've read.

I'm not a Kickstarter backer, but I did pre-order an aluminum Click adapter so it would match my Sport watch. However, now I've got an official ML, plus a different 3rd party adapter that are both shiny, and they don't bother me at all. I'm not going to cancel my Click order, but I'm not stressed about it. (Personally I don't care about their bands at all and wish they'd just get the adapters done and shipped.)

I don't think these people had any business taking preorders or running a kickstarter. It's obvious by the multiple delays and over promising and under delivering that they don't know what they're doing.

I wish they would give us a straight answer instead being extremely vague, the latest update says they will ship September 14-16th, I don't think anyone has gotten any confirmation of that. The same update says they will ship the week after that, by the end of September and by the first week of October. Which is it!?!? If you can't tell they have no idea and are guessing.

I think kickstarter has it's uses, this shouldn't have been one of them, you don't take a massive amount of preorders and give out dates you know you can't make.

I got an email saying they started fulfilling orders this morning, and they think they will fill most Aluminum orders this month.

It also says they will send an email notification once they ship your order

Got the same email. Not technically a shipping email. Got an email a few months ago saying they were shipping the week of Sept 14th. Honestly, the only email I want from them is the one stating it shipped and a tracking #, not all these empty promises emails.

I have a friend in NYC who has a 38mm aluminum sport watch. She was out here on the west coast this week and saw my SS AW with a Freedomoclock adapter on it and a third party band and liked the idea of maybe getting an adapter for hers. I honestly didn't feel good about even mentioning these guys to her given no one has even held one in their hands yet and god only knows where she would be in the order line. She'd probably kill me for recommending them and making her wait. Hopefully your emails mean something is coming for you real soon.

Please post pictures of your adapter when you get it. Their website is full of contradictory images. In some the adapters look chunky, like almost flush with the sides the watch with a slight taper on them...and in other images they look a lot more like all the other third party adapters out there.

Yeah, I'm not confident it's coming any time soon, or that it will be worth the wait once it does get here, between the misleading updates and super crappy pictures I'm actually kind of tempted to cancel my order and just look for somthing else.

I wish they would just put some honest updates on the site once a week. Everyone understands when things happen so there's no need to lie, be misleading or just ignore your website!

These people promised a lot and have delivered very little. In the beginning it was constant updates and I was pleasantly surprised but as time went on and they had to produce and deliver a product their true nature started to show. My address has changed and I remember them saying we would receive an email to confirm our address. Maybe I missed it. I ordered a space black adapter with all the bonus junk and I fully consider that money lost, by the time I receive my Click it will be better suited for the garbage than my watch.

Maybe some of you have had better experiences with crowdfunding but I have tried multiple times and every time I experience delays and excuse after excuse. People think they can just start companies and manufacture products but realistically they understand little of what is involved or fail to project realistic timeframes.

I know, I know it happens with these things but come on.

Yeah mine has shipped, got a notification and many USPS international letter updates since.

No timescales though.

Can't remember what I got. It was nearly a year ago when I ordered. Think in total I'll be getting three adapters and a few bands.

I'll be sure to post close up photos on the eBay listings.

So I got mine in yesterday... they're ok. Nothing spectacular and nothing that should have had delays like they did. They slide very awkwardly into the watch and they don't appear to "click" in place like the Apple bands do. I will say they seem fairly flush with the watch with just the slightest amount of wiggle room. Very minor complaint but they packaging shown on their Kickstarter page was nothing like what I received... it was a printed card, folded in half with the adapters "glued" to the inside of it. I really like the look of them, though - they seem very... "Apple" in their appearance.

thanks for those pictures, can't believe we had to wait so long. They really don't look that "great" over any of the others that are now out there. If they would have really been the first I think this would be an accomplishment but now that I see them they look kind of behind the power curve. Oh well it was like 65 dollars for a ton of adaptors and bands.

Thanks for posting. I didn't realize they were shipping finally, I haven't had a ship notice.

Honestly I've got so many third party bands now these are basically pointless for me. I need to contact them and see if I can change the one for me to a second for my girlfriend

I just ordered a stainless link band that's listed as a 1:1 clone of the authentic Apple. I already have the black sport band and three perfect leather loops knockoffs. The leather loops cost less than the click adaptor I think.

Edit

Which leather band is I the photos? I ordered a couple classic or modern buckle replicas that are terrible. Really thin and crappy. They slide all over my wrist. That one looks quite good - I'm assuming you wouldn't have changed the Quentin apple adapters and that is a knockoff band.

The "Sport Orange" that Click included from the Kickstarter.

On thing I have to say. I expected a better match on the finish. It's not fit, considering how much time they took it,should be perfect. And while its not that far off, it's off.

I would say the bands are probably nicer than the adapters.

yeah sadly I have to say I am starting to think a few college kids got rich off us trying to get adaptors that they just sourced from china like everyone else anyways. The pictures show an obvious difference in the color or texture or both.
