Um... rationalize how you'd like, fanboys, the S3 is still better.

If the newly released benchmarks are true then the iPhone is faster than the SIII... All those specs and all that hardware only to be slower than a lower speccced iPhone.

+1 to what CaptainObvvious said!

While it may be better to you, if your going to make statements like that, at least back it up with facts to support your argument.

Faster Processor
Higher DPI Display
Thinner
Lighter
Better Camera
Larger App Store
Superior Build Quality: In terms of precision during the manufacturing process.

Those are pretty hard facts.

Faster processor... sure. I'll give you that, the megahertz myth still exists.

DPI isn't everything. Smaller displays need to be used close to your face so DPI needs to be higher.

I don't buy my phones with millimeters in mind. I think I'd rather take a phone that suits me better that is a few mm thicker than a super phone I end up hating.

Lighter. Same as above, who cares? With such minuscule differences you want even notice.

Camera. No comment. I haven't used either camera.

Apps. Again no comment. I haven't been an iOS user In a long time so my comparison is unfair.

That precision is horse ******. They don't choose from 750 glass pieces for the back. And CNC aluminum work is not Apple only. It happens daily in factories around the world.

Why are people getting butthurt by this? Couldn't care less who likes/hate the phone.

Yeah, honestly, it's an advertisement trying to sell the Samsung phone. It's job is to get people to at the very least realize the phone exists and check it out. Even better, to sell the phone.

You guys are taking this far too personally honestly. Yes, it's distorted. It's an ad. Do you really think ads don't distort things? Maybe this is a lesson to you to not pay attention to what an ad tells you (or at least do your own research before you trust what an ad says).

Well congratulations! Based on your responses and the general trend that phone companies follow to improve their products you don't have to ever upgrade your current phone. Seems that you don't care if your phone gets thinner, lighter, more DPI, better camera, or produced better.

I just wish that people would educate themselves before making these images.

The S3 has a passwallet app that supports the exact same passes (same file format) as passbook. The benefit of course will be if passwallet can integrate with NFC :p

No kidding. And if you call that inane image in the op then you're absolutely ridiculous. Boycott Samsung and I think you need to toss your macs. Jesus, kids today.

'Don't settle for cheaper plastic'

This is the first line where Samsung went wrong did they forget the plastic behind of the samsung galaxy ii and iii vs the glass and aluminium behind of the iPhone five.

Also like the imac i don't care about the hardware specs on paper i care about the software and if it agrees with the hardware.

No it doesn't.

That's a third-party app you need to download from Google's store. And it comes with ads. And it doesn't integrate with the OS at all.

If you start counting third-party apps as being a feature of the phone, then my phone's feature list includes Angry Birds.

Wow. I feel dumber for looking at those "posters".

Both are beyond retarded.

But hey, original wasn't much better either.

Edit: LOL X infinity, Apple calling Samsung a bully.

I couldn't agree more. I can't believe how many people seem shocked and amazed at advertising tactics that are used in every industry.

And even more strange, they have this compelling need to try to defend one the most profitable companies in the world from a perceived attack by one another one of the largest companies world....(who also happens to be a frequent business partner.)

Both companies advertising departments are having a good chuckle out of it and trying to figure out what to put out next.

Lol...better at being cheap feeling, loaded with bloat, and even with a quad core processor and 2 gig of ram, still laggy at times.

The iPhone 4S is a better all around device then the s3 IMO. The 5 will be leaps and bounds better. It's already faster.

You have to be dumb to give any kind of personal or financial information to a fly by night dev like who made that app.

But hey, it's the Internet. We can trust anyone

I have a note. And no, I see absolutely no reason to upgrade currently. Which is why I'm waiting until I feel I have to. My phone does everything I need. Thanks for congratulating me!

Both of those are pretty toe-curlingly stupid :-(

For sure. They are actually saying that longer talk time is bad? The micro usb plug is a clone of lightning? Have they even looked at a micro usb plug?

That whole thing is retarded.
