As you enter the small temple, you are introduced by the statue of Tymora, the goddess of luck and good fortune, dominating the far wall. The temple is lighted by flames along the walls, illuminating the several benches facing the altar and the statue of the goddess. As the sun begins to set behind you, the flames seem to shine brighter, giving the temple an air of warmth and welcome.@ravenvii, Syllin (@Scepticalscribe) and myself will head next door to the shrine to talk with the sister while Veit gets us the rooms. I'm heading along for protection and would appreciate it if Syllin does the talking.
Before the statue kneels a female elf. She stands up gracefully and turns to face you.
"Ah, I have heard that a party of outsiders has arrived in town and stirred the pot quite a bit," Sister Graele said, her voice full of grace and a slight undercurrent of good-hearted humor.
To you, the two elves before you look the same age. But Syllin knew; she is the younger, and Sister Graele is the elder, and deserving the respect of an elf of such standing.
Sister Graele nods at you then diverts her full attention to Syllin. "Ah, it is good to see another of my kind. It has been so long..."
She takes a slight bow. "I can feel that you have been wanting to converse with me. How may I be of service, child?"
You sense no anger or even annoyance coming from Syllin in hearing her being called a child. You're not sure the reaction would've been the same if you have attempted it.
@Scepticalscribe how do you respond?
