Well, my 14in mbp max 10/32c 32gb 1tb went from 4/20-27 to 6/6-27… I broke down last night and ordered an in stock refurb mba 8/8c 16gb 1tb that was in stock shipped today delivers tomorrow. Dunno if I’ll keep the air, was just fed up with waiting. We’ll see.

I hear you. Many need a stopgap machine while waiting. I'm glad I ordered on launch day but it was a lot of pressure.

I watch a podcast that comes out daily on economic issues in China and things are a complete mess over there right now.

So, I just treated my self for my birthday and ordered a maxed out 16 inch m1 max macbook pro on Saturday. Shipping for me is June. Is that accurate? Or is mine going to get delayed as well? Or is it going to depend on the lockdowns in shanghai?
Just be ready for the dates to move as you get closer......
Unfortunatelly this is happening to most peoples orders.

Got pushed back today. 16in 10/32c 32gb 2tb. Ordered March 15, original delivery Apr 29.. now pushed to Jun 6-21. /sigh

Mine was due this week but pushed back to mid June.
I don't really know how China expects to suppress Omicron and Xe. Have any countries successfully suppressed these new more highly infectious variants? Seems like a tough ask in densely populated cities.

I keep reading that the goal is to prevent the healthcare system from being overwhelmed, which I imagine is a real possibility in a country with 1.4 billion people. It does seem like a very 2020 response, however.

Ordered 14” MacBook Pro M1 March 16th with delivery date of April 25-May 2nd. Yesterday eta was updated to Jun 7-Jun 22.

locally I am beginning to see the BTO models that retail carries get pushed to end of June as they sell out in store. I would act quick if you are looking for a higher tier locally.

My Maxed out Mac Studio ordered March 8 was projected by Apple to arrive starting May 4. Apple still shows this origninal date. I have received texts from UPS saying that it is expected to arrive early, tomorrow April 25, although UPS shows it still in Hong Kong

My Studio Display with tilt/height still shows an Apple projected delivery April 22-29, two weeks after the first projected shipping date. It arrived yesterday, on the 23rd, shipped from Sacramento California.

It looks like both Apple and UPS delivery statuses are not getting updated. Puzzled why UPS is sending me texts saying delivery is tomorrow when their website shows the monitor is in Hong Kong.

Normally it would leave Hong Kong and be at you local UPS for delivery tomorrow. However, things haven’t been proceeding normall, so it will likely spend a few days in Hong Kong. Once you see it leave Hong Kong it will likely deliver to you the next business day.

This is actually moving, now in Anchorage. Due to arrive over a week early from the first estimated ship date. Apple website shows arriving on May 5th but UPS says Thursday the 28th. Usual 2 day shipping time from Asia.

The kicker is the Studio Display with height. We are approaching the revised end delivery date after the 2 week setback. With no movement at all looks as if it will be delayed again.

So what will happen with my trade-in? There is a 14 day return requirement for my iMac, but I can't transfer data or use the studio with no monitor so it looks as if it will be impossible to return within the 14 days.

The latest China news is not good. Omicron is spreading throughout the country and most of the major districts in Beijing are being tested right now. Following history this will probably mean lockdowns will be imposed.

The clock starts ticking when you receive the trade in kit, but this is easily fixed.

UPS mis-delivered my trade in kit to another address. It was marked as delivered, but it wasn’t delivered to me. I contacted Apple, and they sent out a new trade in kit (resetting the clock).

To avoid any confusion, make sure to use the replacement trade in kit, and discard the first one you get.

Looks like I'm in the same boat as a lot of people here. Bought the Studio Display with tilt/height stand on the first day preorders were up and initially got a delivery date of April 6-13. That got delayed to April 21-28 and still no movement on the order page from "Processing"

I chatted with Apple support yesterday just to make sure there was nothing wrong with my payment and they said everything looked good on their end and I should definitely expect it by the 28th and that they see no reason for it to be delayed again... though I'm pretty sure it's gonna get delayed again..

I'm waiting to get a Mac Studio/Studio Display via my brother-in-law as he works for Apple and gets a discount. Unfortunately these items aren't even available to order on the internal Apple website he uses. They show up but the 'Continue' option to order them is not active.

The Apple website suggests 10-12 weeks between ordering and delivery. At this rate there'll be M2 Macs available before I get hold of the Studio!

Welp it definitely got delayed again, this time by a whole month..
Went from April 6-13 --> April 21-28 --> now May 20-27

M1 MacBook Pro 14 just got pushed another month, June 15. The good news is that I can see if WWDC has any announcements. Maybe a spec bump.

My M1 MacBook Pro 16 was just pushed from May 3-10 to June 16-30, but I just received an in-stock notice at B&H and managed to place an order there - delivery on May 4.

With the maxed out Mac Studio arriving a week early than projected getting the same push outs on the display with height, now May 23-30. Apple support says to call once the display comes in to restart the trade-in process for the Mac Studio.

Same thing just happened to me. I had a custom M1 Max order that I placed on February 10th.

Original shipping window was April 6-19, so I was psyched to finally get it …

… then yesterday, April 8th, I got an email with a new window of May 4-11.

I reached out to Apple Support, where a very friendly rep told me “this is a general situation that we are having with customized Macs.” He even said he has a personal order for a 14” MBP that also just got delayed.

Explanation was a bit vague: “your order was delayed due to some problems, this is a fully customized product and comes from overseas, we had trouble and we'd love to make something else for you but it is not possible.”

Sounds like general pandemic supply chain issues to me.

The rep did effusively assure me that the new shipping window was solid. Not sure how they can guarantee that, but he seemed confident.

Anyway, nothing to do but wait …

Just got a new update: my laptop has slipped to June 23-July 7. That’s note 2.5 months of post-order delays, on top of an original wait of over 2 months.

The lockdowns in China seem to be wrecking Apple’s supply chain.

You could see if B&H is selling it. They seemed to have several actually in stock. My order yesterday actually shipped and should be arriving tomorrow.
