It worked! I got a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable that was VESA certified 32.4Gbps. I now get the same signal (i.e. 30-bit) as I would get using USB-C to USB-C. Also, the new cable gets me the additional resolution options (see pics). Thanks for the solution!
Beautiful! That is exactly the result I was hoping for as I will be using the same connectivity. Now I can go ahead and order this monitor :)

In other news... the LG 40WP95C-W is in stock and available for order finally. This thing has been coming for over a year, and has been on my interest list along with the Dell and Lenovo variants.

Wow, that looks pretty nice, thanks for linking. A 40” 5K2K screen with TB4 input / 96W power delivery! Could see that being very nice, but not sure if 40” screen (even curved) would be too big for my setup. Have you seen this (or similar sized screen) in person?

Just received my U3223QE yesterday. So far so good, I'm coming from late 2014 27" iMac, so I was very worried going to a non-retina screen. So far I'm quite happy, I'm running at "looks like 3360 X 1890 in scaled". I was really worried the txt would be not sharp and or too small. But its really good. I'm using it with a 2018 13" MacBook Pro, (waiting for the MBA refresh hopefully soon). I am a Tech investor so I don't do any video editing or graphics work. For me, the monitor is really good. The only hiccup so far is that I cannot get power from the USB-A plugs in the back of the monitor. I'm currently using the single USB-C connection so able to get power from that, but I'm unable to get power on any of the other connections. In the Manual it seems to say that I can get power from these inputs.

You cannot imagine how relieved I'm that the monitor looks good, I have spent hours on this forum and other reviews looking at the 5K2K LG, the 5K LG's, the Apple Monitor and other monitors. I was all set to get the Apple Pro Display, but every time I felt that it was really expensive, which it is and it's really not necessary for what I do. I do spend a lot of time in front of the monitor so I was willing to pay for something that was good. All of my other device are retina (5K iMac, MBP, 12.9" iPad Pro, iPhone). If you've been waiting to get a monitor I would say these Dell UltraSharp 4K's are very good.

Are you using the correct USBC port? I have my Mac mini M1 connected to the port 5

Have you people tried daisy chain function with M1 Mac series? As I know, M1 Mac support DSC even if it's not specified on their spec sheet.

In dell document they mentioned that it's available using usb-c connected with computer and it needs to connect two monitor with DP cable ( Maybe 1.4 version DP cable )

And in case of using DP, it's needs DP connected computer which support DSC and two connected monitors with DP cable.

What I want to do is getting rid of Caldigit TS3+ Dock for simple setup on my desk. I jut want connect all the things with U3223QE and connect secondary monitor ( U2720Q) with daisy chain.

Anyway I ordered U3223QE monitor few days ago and estimated shipping date is 18th March. So I decided to but it from some offline store and will test daisy chain function.

Daisy-chaining via USB-C/DP requires a type of Multi-Stream Transport (MST) configuration which macOS doesn't support. It is not possible on macOS.

yes my mbp is getting power through port 5. I was hoping to get power through the other ports for small peripherals.
Only port number 13 is supposed to provide fast charging for peripherals. It is one of the two that is slightly outside, not near the HDMI and other ports.

Just got one of these U2723QE and connected it to a Macbook pro 2017 using the USB-C to USB-C cable shipped with the monitor and all I get is 30Hz. No idea what's wrong with it but according to the Macbook's spec it should be able to drive two external 4K displays at 3840x2160@60Hz.

What MacBook Pro, specifically? Do you have the monitor configured for higher resolution and slower USB 2.0 speeds?

Macbook Pro 2017, 13-inch, two Thunderbolt 3 ports. I've tried the option for higher resolution and for high speed, but still only 30 Hz.

Hi, does anyone have the weight of this display without the stand? I haven't been able to find anything online regarding this.

I had the same issue with my Macbook Pro.

You need to go into the extended menu on the monitor and change USB-C priortization.

Menu -> Display -> USB-c priortization -> High resolution (defaults to High data speed)

Doesn't work for me. Still get only 30 Hz.
