did you get your 17" C2D MBP yet?

I feel exactly the same. Don't think Apple have any system at all it should be on a first come first served basis.

I ordered a stock 17" MBP within 15 minutes of the update and my
estimated shipping date is the 7th of November and get this
estimated delivery date is the 21st of November.
There hasn't been one change on my account page since the day i ordered it.

And mine is the worst of any of the estimated delivery dates in the whole thread, and chances are i ordered first.

Where is it being shipped?
 
Maybe it's where you live. Did you order free shipping?

My estimated ship is the 8th...Delivered the 14th

I hope they ship today. I think in another thread they said some MacBooks shipped on Saturday. It's 5:30 AM Saturday morning in Shanghai right now. In three more hours, hopefully the line will get moving again.
 
I don't think the "custom configured" means anything new. That's just something new they added to the store recently. It just means it's a CTO order.

Because I have a 17" matte which I ordered on the 24th and canceled on the 24th. Now that machine is listed as "custom configured" also (along with my glossy one), even though it was canceled a long time ago. So it means nothing as far as it being built.

There is no option in Ireland or the Uk for priority shipping. We get free shipping and thats it.
 
Well, what are you worried about then? It sounds like you're still first in line, if you're shipping on the 7th.
 
So i officially love apple. when i ordered my 17 inch mbp i thought it would ship from the us warehouse, so i opted for standard shipping. i found out it was from over seas so i just called apple. i asked if i could pay for the faster shipping and the dude told me he upped to 2 day shipping for me for free. he also said that the ship date they give is the worst case scenario and most likely it will ship before that. mine is scheduled for the 9th as of right now. i cant wait.
 
Seems the dates we got wasn't overly pessimistic afterall.. (I was counting om that.. Silly me!) That's a shame. Strange that no stores has seen any though, let's just hope the dates at least wasn't overly OPTIMISTIC. :)
 
Its obvious then that most, if not all of us will have our 17" MMBPs by the week starting 13th.

I ordered mine about 30 minutes after the site went back up on that Tuesday afternoon of the 24th and like many others I have a Ship Date: 7th and Est. Delivery Date: 14th. I ordered the following;

2.33Ghz
160GB {5400rpm}
2GB 667 DDR2 - 2x1GB SO-DIMMs
Matte Screen

Apple Mighty Mouse {wired}

I am in Scotland (as you might have semi-guessed by the name). X-mas is coming early boys!!!(and gals)

Theres something now right about that - maybe it is absolute worst case scenario cos I phoned the Euro Apple Store and they said to expect it about a week earlier (tho Im still not getting my hopes up). Just phone them up on the freephone number and act dumb by simply asking for an order status check.
 
OK LISTEN TO THIS. My ship date was supposed to be the 9th and i got a tracking number today. So it was sent on the 4th, 5 days early. plus i got the free 2 day shipping. this is crazy! hope urs all ship early too.
EDIT:
OK nvm. i got a tracking number for the upgrade to 2 day shipping? Uhh i kinda feel dumb.

WTF?!?!?!
Please say we'll all now get a flood of emails with tracking numbers!!!
My bank account is untouched though and I can still cancel my order :(

not quite ;) my delivery is 27 :D haven't seen anyone with a later date?

i think they mean they have their new web order number!!

mine hasnt shipped yet, and i can still cancel, but i think i will always be able to cancel because it is all stock
 
I got a shipping notification this morning also!

:( But, it seems to be only for the shipping charge, not the MBP. And the fedex number listed is not mine (it's for some package going from SC to MN today :confused: )

I checked the order status online, and it still says est ship date is Nov 7 and delivery Nov 8. So no change.

And my card still has not been charged. It was authorized on Nov 1.
 
I got an email from apple giving me a tracking number, but when i look at what was in the shipped order, all it says was 2 day expedited shipping for the product. I dont think that it was actually shipped. the apple rep told me that the est shipping dates are the worst case scenario. so we should probably be shipped out before that.
 
Well, then they better get moving, the estimated day is almost here.. I'm going away the 9th, so this kinda sucks, it'll probably arrive when I'm gone, gonna have to call Apple and sort that out..
