Find it weird that no case leaks or other new info given its just over a month from when they are expecting new iPad pro release

I know as soon as I buy a new 12.9 Pro, the new one will launch. So everyone send me $25 bucks, I'll go buy one and it will be launched. So who's in ? 😁

Who said they were going to launch in March? the iPad Pro's might not come out until around September or October time. Also there probably won't be any case leaks, iPad's don't usually have many leaks.
The only information I think we know so far, is from Ming Chi Kuo who said that there will be a 3 camera set up, which is similar to the current iPhone 11 Pro Max. There probably won't be a big physical change to the iPad Pro since that update happened in 2018.

don't think the lack of leaks means no iPad in march...there will be no major leaks as only change is cameras as the design will look the same

Which I should mention an iPad does not need 3 cameras. If they’re going to upgrade it, put the iPhone 11 camera in the pro model.

The casing has already been leak, some YT clips have been shown around.

We already know that there is going to be some changes to the camera, and I don’t think Apple will wait nearly 2 years to update the iPad Pro in September or October.

Analysts has predicted March and that would be 16 months after the release of the 2018 iPP.

It wasn’t a leaked picture, it was a render from Onleaks. Apple releases things when they are ready, it may be March but it may also be later in the year. WWDC, September or October. Time will tell.

Well, you gotta understand. The iPad is great view finder... I don’t condone bringing it to concerts and blocking other views.

I recall Apple did an event showcasing videography with the iPad and I’m sure other’s thought it was awesome. I don‘t think users should buy the iPad as a means to record video... but it’s cool Apple taking it serious. As I feel it doesn’t make sense for users to be so welcoming for full mouse support, when my thought process is the iPad is more touch-based interfaced.

I just understand that, perhaps... it might not be for me, but I‘m alright with how other’s choose to use their iPad.

But majority of the times.. those renders be nearly identical to the official product. Especially when so many people are reporting on it. But yeah, I understand that Apple releases things when they are ready. We are all just speculating... I just feel March seems realistic given the history of iPad Pro releases.

I agree with this as long as using the iPad as camera doesn't inconvenience other people (e.g. that person in front of me with a 10" iPad blocking the view at my cousin's graduation 😠).

I don't know how I'd feel about a single processor update. I'd rather wait for the A14X. I will only buy an A13X iPad if it features 6-8gb of ram, an amazing camera, and a stronger body. The Ram alone would be worth the update.

Just a processor update? I doubt it... I think we will have upgraded RAM along with A13X. The iPad Pro has been on 4GB RAM for far too long.

The waiting is killing me...wanna buy an Ipad Pro 12". I'm currently in Asia but in March I will go in Europe and likely will have to wait until May to come back in SE Asia where is way cheaper than Europe.

The waiting is killing me, too. In the meantime I’m still on my second gen 12.9” that occasionally I literally punch in the middle of the screen due to the screen unresponsiveness.

Any bending issues or concerns with build quality?

Of course there are concerns. Don’t listen to the kool aid drinkers that guffaw at the very idea. There’s threads on this very site with dozens of pages and hundreds of replies about screen unresponsiveness or bending, including the current-gen 12.9” 3rd gen IPad Pro.

have to agree i'm itching to get a new ipad i'm on the 2nd gen too

march can't come quick enough for me and family keep pestering when i'm getting it as i will pass on the old one.

Ming-Chi Kuo is now back to predicting a 2020 H1 release for new iPad Pros.

Apple plans to release several new products in the first half of 2020, including Ultra Wideband tags, high-end wireless headphones, a 4.7-inch iPhone, refreshed iPad Pro models, and refreshed MacBook Pro and/or MacBook Air models, according to the latest forecast from well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

"We forecast that Apple's major new hardware products in 1H20 include the 4.7-inch LCD iPhone, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro/Air, smaller wireless charging mat, UWB tag, and a high-end Bluetooth headphone," wrote Kuo in a research note with TF International Securities, a copy of which was seen by MacRumors.

I’d much rather they wait until fall if it means they could do 5G and A14X. Kuo is driving me crazy, he’s had 3 or 4 different predictions for release timing o_O

I’m not much interested in the cameras so I’ll probably grab a used 2nd gen and hold out for the 5th gen. Or maybe a discounted 3rd gen and wait for the 6th gen lol. In any case, my 1st gen is showing it’s age and I want something faster.

Wait? Tell it to the users who been waiting since last October/November to buy a updated model.

I for one, have no horse in the race... if they wait until fall for a 5G and A14X model, that would be cool. If they decide on March... then that’s cool.

But the idea of releasing a A13X in March then turn around in fall to release a A14X... just doesn’t seem realistic. However, I could see Apple releasing a newer version in the fall.. but don’t do anything internally.

For instance, keep A13X and add 5G... Mini-LED. Just an idea...
