Nope. Got my iPad 3G+wifi the day they were released and I use it all the time. Recently took a trip and left my MacBook Pro at the office and traveled with just the iPad. It was liberating not to have to carry so much around.

I got the iPhone 4 as an upgrade to my original iPhone on release day and my iPad a week ago. I already can't imagine doing without both...like everyone's said, they serve completely different purposes. I only have the wifi iPad though, I didn't feel the need for 3G on both.

None what's so ever

I use my Ipad all the time Its great when traveling I have both the Ipad and Iphone 4 the phone did not travel with us when we went to Hawaii but the Ipad did

Not at all, best device I own. Makes the iPhone of much less value at least the data side, also sold my net book!

Long live the iPad !

I wouldn't say regret, but i don't use it nearly as often as i thought i would. I pretty much only use it laying in bed.

I got my iPhone 4 on release day (a welcome upgrade from my 3G! :D), and just bought a 32GB 3G iPad two weeks ago. I use my iPhone for everyday communications and lightweight computing, whereas the iPad is for everyday computing that doesn't require whipping out the laptop.

Also, the larger physical dimensions of the iPad screen make it more relaxing to use than the iPhone for entertainment, despite the iPhone's fabulous Retina display. In fact, over the past week, the only thing I've used my MBP for is to backup and update my iPad & iPhone.

The goal in purchasing my iPad was to reduce my daily carriage of a laptop to an absolute minimum. The goal is to be able to travel with just the iPad and iPhone and still do 90+% of what I do with a laptop. I'm not at that point yet, but it's looking do-able once I figure out the right workflow & app payload for the two iDevices. Getting there... :)

I think I am a little lazier... That's my regret after getting an ipad.

^^ This :p I love mine, use it at every opportunity for web surfing instead of my desktop. Not to mention games, movies, music, recipes and creating art. A typical day for me is as follows:

Wake up and grab the iPad to check my regular forums online and the news/weather.

Set iPad to stream the morning news on the radio whilst having brekky.

Use it on and off all day since I can carry my text books on it and take lecture notes. (Uni student)

Get home and check my regular forums online, play a few games and generally unwind.

Pull up my music and Epicurious to cook dinner.

After dinner curl up in front of the fire and surf the web, chat to friends, read a book etc.

Honestly, I had a brief period of remorse. I think it was due to my being over-whelmed by the simplicity and capabilities of this device (and my own realization that I was/am a total newbie). This forum has helped. The staff at retail stores (Apple Store and Best Buy) have helped. The Tips and Tricks section on this forum is insanely helpful.
I have an 3G iPad 16 gb, which I bought as soon as it was available. I went out on a limb and jail-broke it recently. It s nice to be able to listen to Pandora and surf the web simultaneously using Backgrounder. I look forward to more JB apps (especially the app that circumvents AT & T 20 MB download cap. I really was disappointed by the discontinuation of $29.99 unlimited data plan for new users (i was lucky to be grand-fathered into the plan).
I look forward to more tablets in the market-place - where have they been ?
Cheers !

Same as me, except I picked up the 64 Gig 3G. Great post.

I was just talking to my husband and he commented that I use the iPad more than almost any other device. I use it at work, home and out. It has my grocery lists, ebooks, music and lots of games, maps etc. I didn't buy until June 'cause I couldn't convince myself that it was going to be that utile. However, once I bought it --- WOW! I find myself running the battery down to 30-40% every day. I don't know how I got along before I got my iPad! I got the 64G/3G and am glad I spent the extra for it. I was also lucky to get the unlimited data plan

Absolutely not. I don't have an iPhone (or a phone that could compare), but I use my iPad and my laptop for two completely different things. My iPad is mainly used as my portable device... just randomy Internet browsing, checking mail. I also take it to school with me and would maybe start writing papers on it in Pages. My laptop is used for instant messaging, heavy writing and anything that requires heavy multitasking.

I do think I use my iPad more than my laptop, but that could change within the next week or so when school starts up again.

Nope. Kinda wish I got the 3G model but once I wifi tether it to my droid all will be well. It attracts a ton of attention though, almost like the iPhone when it first came out. Someone will have an iPod touch and I'll whip out my iPad and suddenly people are asking me to pull up maps and go to street view, go on google, let them play chopper 2. Great device and I'll admit it's sort of redudandt from my iPod touch I had a while ago but I trust apple to as usual update their software and I know the ipad will be even better in the next few months.

I use mine constantly. As a busy professional with a lot of commitments I just don't have the time to sit down in front of a 'real' computer these days so having a simple, small and lightweight device that I can use to communicate and manage my life is just fantastic.

I wouldn't be without the iPhone either though because it's obviously not possible to take the iPad absolutely everywhere.

Oh, and like others in this thread I have also noticed that the iPad seems to attract a lot of interest when I take it out in public! There are definitely a lot of people out there who are seriously contemplating buying an iPad despite the that circulated when the product was first announced back in January.

No remorse as such as I think the hardware is fantastic, I just wish it had some everyday useful software that would make it a complete business tool.

MS office running natively (esp. Outlook) or a fully compliant app would make it sooo much better.

iWork is a joke and Docs to go is limited.

My only regret is getting the 3G version. I've only had to use the 3G network twice, and with a little forward planning I wouldn't have had to. I never realized how often I was in a wireless network. But other than this no regrets.

Since I do not have a smartphone or a laptop, my iPad 3G is the first mobile computing device I've ever had and it has been very liberating, both at home and on the go.

I come up with new uses for it all the time. Over the past week, for example, I have been planning some new perennial beds and landscaping projects for my garden--I load a photo of one section of the garden into Sketchbook Pro, then draw in layers on top of the photo to get a sense of what shape/height/color plants and shrubs would look good together. Then I have the photos and drawings with me when I go to the garden center, so I can consult w/ the staff there to make sure that the plants I'm interested in are suited to the conditions or if there might be some better choices with a similar color or shape.

So no, no regrets at all!
