Currently using a Torro case on my natural titanium 16 pro. Lovely looking case made from genuine cowhide leather that doesn’t add too much bulk or weight. Advertised as dark brown but has nuances of aubergine which I really like!

These pictures make it look more blue than brown compared to their website.

Case has come off for two weeks and screen protector came off a few days ago… I miss this feel. I have enjoyed using it this way more than when it was cased up lol.

It reminded me of back in the day before cases were a big thing, I never put a case on my RAZR or my Sony Ericsson Z800 and they were still in great condition! I’m thinking this might be something I could do lol 😁

I’m still using my 15PM and waiting for the 17PM next year. I alternate between the cases I still have. I still use a screen protector, and I’ve found myself using my Süti case, which covers just the back. My phone is practically caseless. I’m more aware of where I sit my phone down when I’m using this case.

Case has come off my 16 Pro Max after about 1.5 months. Interested to see how the Black Titanium holds up. My previous sierra blue 13 Pro hid scuff marks on the stainless steel pretty well.

Developing situational awareness of where you put your phone down is one of the skills you learn when you begin to go caseless. It soon becomes a natural thought process and you will not be aware you are even doing it at some point. It just happens.

That's a natural protection of your phone, of your stuff.

👍

if all else fails, a sharpie might be required by next year 🤣🤣
These were quite useful during the iPhone 5 Scuffgate years…

Touch up paint for metal, specifically gun barrels. But useful for other types of metal. Sold in different colors as well. :)

It's actual paint - not ink.

I use a Clicks Keyboard Case maybe about 90% of the time. I've been going case-less otherwise. Too much work putting my other case on and off when I don’t want that extra bulk. I keep a Moft MagSafe Wallet on it for that extra grip and to prevent it from slipping out of my pocket without a case on.

Omg it is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen 😅

The product is mainly for those who miss the era of physical keyboards on devices. It's akin to having an iPhone with the functionality of a flip phone, or the Blackberry experience.

So, I guess whether it's ugly or not depends on your view of older devices with keyboards. I don't miss those devices, so this isn't for me. But I'm neither here nor there on how it looks.

It’s not the prettiest case. Though it helps me a lot as I have an issue scrolling with my thumbs, I can just press the space bar. Same with reading books, etc. There’s other nice use cases like having keyboard shortcuts. Then there’s the drawbacks like it makes the phone an inch and a half taller.

9to5Mac has a couple videos on version 1 and 2.

I was just thinking that if you wanted to have a 'Plus' phone or a 'Max' phone without actually buying a 'Plus' or 'Max', well…

;)

I’m from the era of the first Pocket PC, so I know what are you speaking about

Screens were different then.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it is useful in some circumstances, but it just doesn’t fit my likes, especially with this iPhone form factor already quite tall.

My first smartphone, 2009 to 2012. HTC Touch Pro with Windows Mobile 6.1. Yes I was using this while most people were using an iPhone.

However, I had cut and paste and MMS before AT&T got around to allowing it on the iPhone. And I was with Sprint at the time. No case, thing was a tank. Dropped it face down on concrete one, kicked it while trying to pick it up. Phone shrugged it all off.

Ah, yes... I remember being addicted to my "Crackberry," back-in-the-day. I used one of these:

Which is of course not quite what most people think of when they talk about Blackberry.

That said... I honestly wouldn't even consider going back, at this point.

I don't use an iPhone myself, but I think if I did, I'd probably go for a case. It’s such a mix of practicality and personal style, right? It’s funny how a small choice like that can influence how you interact with your device every day!

Since the 16P I’ve tried the Nomad magnetic leather back, black on blackTi. Not a case. Not really protection except for the back and camera lenses. But for someone who have gone caseless for some years now it’s really nice. Actually have enjoyed it.

As long as you are aware it doesn’t offer any form of drop protection 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got myself a ohsnap grip luxe.
Pros: thin, blends in, won't come off when using he grip, strong magnets on the outside.
Cons: Strong magnets on the outside lol. A bit hard to detach from a MagSafe charger. Impossible to detach from my ESR MagSafe car mount (which has very strong magnets itself) without the phone detaching from the grip itself.
