MobileMe is like an abusive father, it beats us horribly and makes our lives hell, yet we always go back to it in hopes it can change.

Funny, I went to log in this afternoon (Monday, Aug. 8, 1:00 p.m. pacific time, San Diego) and the email portion of MobileMe is down. So I came straight here to check out what my fellow MacRumor users had to say.

Well, not actually "funny," but just speaks to issues Apple has had with this high-profile balls-up of a rollout. *sigh*

When I saw the Mail icon bouncing on the Dock, I wasn't at all surprised to see it was my MobileMe account that was down.

you guys should just drop mobileme and find a hosted exchange service. they even offer custom domain names and prices at something like $7/month, month to month contract
