I just signed up and it's down. I didn't even get a chance to use it. I only signed up because I wanted push email.

Looking through this forum it appears that this is not the first instance. I should have done better research. If you buy online can you get a refund within 30 days or anything?
Yeah, IFF you can get through to anybody at Apple! Good luck on that one.

It is back up for me now. I wonder what that was all about. Seems a bit sluggish right now though.

Neither my mail app or online mail is working. This is getting ridiculous. All the new members to mobile me get their subscriptions extended, what about all the people who have bee .mac supporters for years?

Getting Really Old

I use my .mac .... or mobileme. It is down too much for me to depend on it. I need to get another push email address other than Apple that I know works most of the time. When out of the office on business I am not getting my emails and it is starting to interfer with my business. Any ideas? I have been a .Mac account holder for years and never had this much trouble before. Someone was telling me that Yahoo mail can be pushed? Is that correct?

It was almost working. I saw my welcome email but when I clicked on it the thing crashed.

This mobile.me is total junk. I had nothing but problems since day one. First, it deleted all my events older than 30 days in iCal and now, i can't rely on it for e-mails. Wow. Good thing they make great computers.

Yvon.

Down and Disheartend

Wouldn"t you know it. This is the second time I used my mac email for critical correspondence and it goes down...same thing for the first time. There will *not* be a third!!!

I've just put Kerio Mailserver onto one of our servers in the office and am evaluating it as a possible replacement for our current hosted exchange service.
First impressions are very good - fully supports DirectPush (set up the phone like an Exchange account ), shared folders, webmail, etc, etc and runs on OS X :D
We've got the Beta version on at the moment because that one supports HTML email push to the phone (same as Exchange 2007)
Depending on how many users you want, it can work out cheaper than MobileMe too - around $600 for 10 users then $200 / year after first year
