I use my .mac .... or mobileme. It is down too much for me to depend on it. I need to get another push email address other than Apple that I know works most of the time. When out of the office on business I am not getting my emails and it is starting to interfer with my business. Any ideas? I have been a .Mac account holder for years and never had this much trouble before. Someone was telling me that Yahoo mail can be pushed? Is that correct?
I've just put
Kerio Mailserver onto one of our servers in the office and am evaluating it as a possible replacement for our current hosted exchange service.
First impressions are very good - fully supports DirectPush (set up the phone like an Exchange account ), shared folders, webmail, etc, etc and runs on OS X
We've got the Beta version on at the moment because that one supports HTML email push to the phone (same as Exchange 2007)
Depending on how many users you want, it can work out cheaper than MobileMe too - around $600 for 10 users then $200 / year after first year
