They said they had not seen any esim card yet....
I am wondering if only managers know about this.
I tried last night via att chat and they deactivated my old sim and couldn’t restore it. I gave up and walked into my local att and told them eSim failed and I was directed to this store. I showed them what the card looked like and said it was sent from att so I knew what to look for. Store personel found the eSim and activated it.
Maybe try taking your sim out and stating online chat sent you to the store for an eSim card and show them a picture of the card. Worked for me on the first try. They scan the ICCID and it worked.

That is such a waste. Instead of using plastic, they could just display it on their screen and have the customer scan it or print it...
At what point in the eSIM activation process does your original nano SIM deactivate?
When the store scans the ICCID or when the user activates using the 3D bar code?
I am assuming when the store scans the ICCID because you are basically replacing your current SIM with a new one.. but not sure.

It’s when they scan the ICCID. I noticed all signal went away after that occurred.
I just went to three closest Att stores, and none has esim card. The esim photo didn't work ♂️

For sure only one corporate store. Just make sure you ask for a manager. Definitely a possibility you might not be able to get it if you talk to the wrong person.
Check out some local stores first. Just make sure to ask for a manager. They are the only ones that would know.

Are you adding an extra line from same carrier or another carrier? Or did you add a pre-existing line from same carrier or another carrier?
Turned existing personal line into esim and put existing corporate line SIM card into phone.
Please let me know if you find one att store nearby which carries esim...Thanks

Update.... my local ATT store by the mall of georgia rep had tried it but had no clue how to do it. So now I am on the phone with tech support.

It looks like att company store is better than authorized seller store in this case. And your store is authorized seller store as well (Mall of Georgia Store). Three nearby stores (Buford Dr Store, Shawnee Ridge Store, Mall of Georgia Store) are all authorized seller store. You can try Buford Store (3380 Buford Dr), which is company store.
Update: I got the esim from one authorized store. I tried total 4 company stores and none has it. LOL.
