I'm sure it's nice, but I get this thing blocking my view of the page...

You laugh now but I have a black plastic scoop that came in a flavored drink mix from the late 1990s that I still use today. It's 3 tbsp worth of spoon and I love it. Fantastic to get just the right amount of beans in. I call it my "magical scoop" because once I wash it after using it through many orders/purchases of beans, it doesn't reek of coffee like any other plastic product. It's remarkable.

The absence of a verb compels me to question whether you are dreaming of a triple espresso, or have actually consumed one?

Personally, as I am really rather taken with those exquisite little cups espresso tends to be served in, I'd choose either a single and a double, or, in a supremely self indulgent mood, I would be perfectly capable of consuming three glorious single espressos in one sitting.....
I use a wide brimmed ceramic or stonewear coffee cup that's been heated up under water and dried. It allows you to engulf your nose into it and take in the heavenly aromatics of the beans.

I had a lovely light breakfast of muesli and lunch was roasted chicken. Lamb tonight. I take my coffee much later after eating. I find it helps with easing any digestion issues that might ensue if I had my coffee soon after.
[doublepost=1474248399][/doublepost]@SandboxGeneral The reason your beans are late is because of all the iPhone 7 kerfuffle!

I wish I could say that was the case, however the USPS regularly screws up deliveries to me, just as recently as this weekend on an order from Amazon in which I caught the carrier lying to his supervisor too.

It's been brought to my attention that Keurig is "not" a designer coffee as I had once thought. If a 30 second brew and a K-cup are wrong then I don't want to be right.

Whether Keurig and K-cups are looked upon kindly by others (myself included) is of no importance if it pleases you.

As I have suggested often before...if you like it, that's all that matters.

I'm going to have to try them out. They take a while to ship here, though. The day started dry, warm and sunny when I left for work. It's now balmy, cloudy and sunny, and drizzled off and on. Disgusting. Contemplating making 6 cups of FP and pouring it into an insulated ceramic serving jug with lid and enjoying it outside while reading a book or to have a couple cappuccinos. I don't fancy cleaning up. Decisions... Or I could wait a short while and make a FP batch for missus, MIL and myself with the lovely Bodum Columbia that rarely sees action.
