My colleague returned to the office today after her trip to New York and Boston. She brought me a New York Times and these beans from George Howell Coffee in Boston. Can’t wait to try these out at the weekend.

Volcano beans ahhh, that sounds totally amazing. That earth that they are growing in with newly erupted volcanos must give them some real magic from depth of earth.
You must tell us what it taste like when you been drinking it.
Indulge your tastebuds :)

Enjoying a strong Cappuccino even if it’s very hot today.
Was only considering an ice coffee :)

Thinking back, I can’t recall the last time I had an iced coffee.

Even when it’s really hot out, I still go for the heated stuff. I find the flavor is so much better.
Depends how you make it. You gotta be smart. ;)
My ice-espresso's or latte's is great. No difference in strength or in flavor. Burt sure cold taste different from hot.
I find them extremely refreshing, but I have to have the espresso ice-cubes prepared. Not always I have that.

It's easier to make great hot espresso's. Too make ice-espresso you have to make espresso in ice-cubes to put into the freezer. Otherwise, to make a hot drink cold, it's difficult without dilute it with water ice cubes. That's no good flavor.

Today, little sore in my throat, so gotta treat it with some tea. No espresso today.

Alrighty then. Sounds like I need to at least reconsider my long-held opinion, as you have provided some food for thought.

Espresso ice cubes. Who knew?

Tepid water with lemon and honey.
Thanks, but I took a shot with some essential oils (lemon included).
Don't go and sip on your ordinary essential oils folks, it has to be high quality for internal use.
Just saying.

Sitting down now to enjoy a Hot Chai with some MCT-oils in it.
But most definitely I need to catch up some sleep. Haven't got enough hours lately.

Sister visiting from London. Went up into the town where I live and to a lovely coffee shop where we had a superb English breakfast of bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes and granary toast. Also had an excellent flat white and iced mineral water. Cost £20. Was absolutely lovely and worth every penny.

Having an experimental but exceedingly delicious Iced protein Latte.

Started off with a protein drink that actually have the Latte flavor but then I felt for some espresso too. So I made an double strong espresso and mixed that down with some cocosmilk powder and MCT-oil.
Not more then necessarily deluted.
Espresso ice cubes was added too, to make it a bit stronger and colder.

Unfortunately I had started to mix the protein drink with ordinary ice cubes before I came up with the idea.
Next time it will be more espresso into it.
Perfect for today though. A little bit more protein hungry then coffee hungry after last nights training.

Interesting experiment. I will continue with it :D

I had an excellent "frappe" a Greek iced coffee drink made here in Geneva at my favourite coffee chain. Made with actualy espresso though as in Greece when your are served this drink it is often made with a certain powdered subtance-that-shall-not-be-named. that is unless you specify it be made with espresso or choose another similar drink which I forget the actual term. In any case while I prefer the hot version even in summer this is a refershing alternative much better than coke or other such drinks.

Here is the actual shop I visit in summer, though the hours are a bit short.

We've been enjoying yet another excellent bag of Dave's Coffee's Quonnie. It's a Papua New Guinea medium roast that is truly excellent. We're really fond of this small Rhode Island companies products. I started off buying their Coffee Syrup, then we started in on their small batch roasted coffee. Excellent stuff!

Experimenting with blending Ethiopian and Kenayn coffees, very tasty.
Well as my work schedule in summer is pretty flexible (I can work from home) I am finishing some Italian coffee I bought on the road to Milan awhile ago, with my Bialetti.

I have to ask what proportions in the mix have you tried? Are you using single bean or blends from each region?
