I used regular water now. Had a period where I filtered the water, but I didn't notice any difference.
Water is very good in Sweden.
Not ever any bitter coffee or espressos here. Not a chance :)
I buy only quality beans to my great quality machine.

Sipping on my delicious morning Cappuccino at 6pm here :p

Your lucky you have good water then. Many cities use recycled water these days and you don’t know where it was recycled from. In Hong Kong for example they have two different water lines and often they get mixed up :eek:. One of those lines is supposed to be for the toilet in Hong Kong.

I had a Tiger brand of kettle (pretty much the same as the Zojirushi one in the photos above). It lasted 10 years. I didn't replace it with a similar thing as I drink lots of English tea which requires freshly boiled water. Yes, there's a "reboil" button but it's not the same. Plus it can't be good for the environment keeping the thing at 90 degrees all day. Plus it's not so easy to get a 230v one at a good price.

As you can see, I spent time justifying not buying one, as they look cool and are covered in buttons. I love gadgets!

So now I've just got a "normal" kettle but which allows me to heat water to various temps for green/white etc. teas. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-TWK8633-Styline-Collection-Cordless-x/dp/B003ZHVAJK/, albeit bought in Germany for around £50.

Question for you stylinexpat, if I may ... what's unique about the condensed milk from Taiwan?

I apologise for the following post;

Had a McDonald’s Flat White today. Absolutely bloody disgusting! Just like warm milk. Couldn’t taste any coffee.

Well, at least, with McDonald's, you know the coffee will most likely be rather poor; with Starbucks, the coffee is extremely poor, but, such is the power of marketing, this fact has escaped some people as yet.

And, yes, I know, I should know better.....!

Yes, you should know better.
