Have you tired Pact? You can get a discount using code DAVID-6EE3AD (I'd also receive a discount. Used to be £5 I think)

Mind you, I love perusing coffee sites, to tease, and to tantalise myself and also, to remind myself of what is available, and to read the backstories of some of the coffees, and the producers of those coffees.

And to coax (push) myself out of my comfort zone, and try new and different coffees, otherwise, I would never buy anything but Ethiopian coffee.

Enjoying an Ethiopian coffee (with organic hot milk and a dash of double cream) this Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.

And am also enjoying (with my coffee) a McVitie's Dark Chocolate Digestive biscuit.

And did you buy anything?

I have some new coffee on the way.......post office is sending reports as it travels through their system

Yes, I had that happen. I had ordered some coffee with tracking.
Day 1 - Picked up from vendor
Day 2 - Logged in at the Chullora distribution centre.
Day 3 - Logged in at the other end of the Chullora distribution centre.
Days 4~7 - Travels back and forth from one end to the other of the Chullora distribution centre
Day 8 - Finally escapes and makes its way to my local distribution centre.
Day 9 - Delivered.

it's much the same, but the first one usually says something like "A shipping label has been prepared for your item ....... This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date"

With any luck, they admit they have the package by about the 3rd email......then there are reports about a series of highly detailed minor moves........and then it's updated to say "Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered by the expected delivery date. It is currently in transit to the next facility.".....and then silence.

If the "expected delivery date" is on a Friday, then that's really bad news since that frequently means it won't show up until the following Tuesday. But if they're saying they expect to deliver on Saturday, then that's good news and it probably will show up.....maybe they get paid an overtime rate for working on Saturday?

Yes, I have had the "disappear into the ether" until the following Monday or Tuesday when a delivery had been scheduled for a Friday or Saturday.

Very frustrating.

sometimes there are pleasant surprises tho.....the Post Office had originally said the expected delivery date would be this coming Saturday for the current shipment. However the news in today's emails is that it's already "out for delivery" TODAY

Oh, jolly good.

I'm sure that you are looking forward to taking delivery of it.

Hi everyone 😁

Been thinking of you during my some of my 'morning' espresso's - especially when I had this seasons 1st ice-espresso last week. Always nice when the heat is coming.

I sometimes think of my pack of coffee travelling the vast halls of the Chullora distribution centre, rather like a Roomba searching in vain for a scrap of fluff.

Yes, that is one of the reasons I quite frequently treat myself to coffee from local coffee shops (that buy from local roasters and source coffee from small local coffee producers); having purchased your coffee, you walk out the door with a nice pcaket of coffee in your hands.

new coffee from Maui has arrived.......my packet was an "add on" to somebody else's monthly coffee subscription shipment, so it was delivered by the post office to a business address nearby. Later in the day it appeared at my apartment.

It's no doubt loaded with caffeine so I won't give it a try until Friday morning.......it should be interesting; a medium roast with notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted walnut and rose

Rose? hmmm....I've had rose flavored ice cream at a local Persian ice cream parlor, but never coffee with rose notes
