hmmm.....an email from the post office has informed me that there's package "out for delivery" to my address. When I check the tracking info I find it's coming from a place where I've bought coffee.....but I haven't purchased anything recently, so it's a bit of a mystery

Interesting.

Something similar occurred just before last Christmas, when I received a similar message, which came from a very regarded coffee company from whom I have bought quite a lot of coffee over a number of years, and with whom I had corresponded (by email) on a number of occasions.

However, the thing was, I hadn't ordered anything from them, just then.

In any case, it transpired that they had decided to send me a copy of a beautiful - and exquisitely produced - hard back book that one of their partners/buyers had written (and published) about coffee, their suppliers, and the countries, companies, and people with whom they did business and had forged close ties.

A lovely, thoughtful, and most unexpected gift.

How very nice!

in my situation it turned out to be that two of my godsons (14 and 15) had sent me a "thank you" for letting them stay at my my apartment during the recent fires....they actually had "fled" leaky air mattresses they were trying to use after giving up their beds for some kids of a family, friends of their mother, who had been forced to evacuate...so they do get credit for that

How lovely (and possibly, unexpected).

Ordered a USB-A Mug-Warmer - however it didn't work with my Klean Kanteen mugs, so it was returned to Amazon. It was no real good description what mugs it would work with, so how would I know 😂
I like the idea, and will explore further - would love to have 2-3 of these that can keep espresso warm longer. My mugs do a good job, especially with a lid on, but it can always be better.

I am afraid that my coffee doesn't stay in the mug long enough to need a warmer...

Some of us like to really enjoy our Espresso's however....while working etc.

Checking up these mugs below now - interesting indeed.

At the moment there's barely any coffee left in my mug.....I guess I'll have to refer to it as my first coffee of the day
I know the feeling.

Enjoy your second cup, or mug, of coffee.

For my part, it seems that the (quite excellent) Ethiopian coffee I purchased as recently as last week appears to be rapidly diminishing.

My Ethiopian coffee is completely finished (somewhat to my surprise), and now, for my second mug of coffee, I am enjoying an excellent Gesha from Guatemala, served with organic hot milk.

"...excellent Gesha..." is a promising report.

I've ordered some Gesha that was grown and processed in Brazil....and I've also ordered some coffee grown in Burundi, a Bourbon of some sort.

After all the prodding from @Scepticalscribe, I've decided to warm up Miss Siliva and make my third of the day.

I did receive all the parts to rebuild her steam wand. Youtube video said 20 minutes. I did it in 1.5 hours. It's no longer dribbling.
Excellent news.

Delighted to learn that Miss Silvia is now fully functioning and back to herself, and that your coffee supply has been restored. Do enjoy.

Got a new coffee cup-warmer delivered by Amazon - thought I should try a better one before I start to invest in the more pricy Ember mugs.
I have no complains of my Klean Kanteen mugs, as mugs. They hold heat pretty good, but they could do it a bit longer to ny liking at times.
This new cup-warmer is corded with more power than the USB-version that I tried.
Many good settings, such as grades, time and type of cup. It needs a bit more space, but it will serve me well for now.
The espresso can even get hotter then what the machine deliver - perfect 🔥
