From Germany here .. I ordered my iPhone X 256 GB Silver at around 09:07. The Apple Store app did not go live until 09:03, so logged in to Safari and ordered it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately the shipping dates had already slipped to 2-3 weeks (21-28 November) :-(

what i dont understand is why it took me till 9:07 to get the (DE) store page to load? I was on a pc and was refreshing the apple store app on my phone. Site loaded first.

i had to type in my shipping address manually even though i had updated it before. ok everyone pretty much had to do this i hear. my confirmation email too a while to arrive. 9:15 arrival. Nov 21-28 shipping estimate.

i know its "first world problems" but since were already paying $1550US for the 256gb phone it would be nice to get to order it at the same time as the US :).

did you guys do seperate orders for your cases etc?

The people who let it shipped should get the shipped status latest tomorrow / Monday. Read it on many other platforms that they are marked a shipped.

Italy here. Ordered 64GB Silver iPhone X via Apple Store App at XX:02:38 ca. Storefront opened at XX:02:10 on iPhone 8. Delivery date Nov. 3rd (finger crossed). Order received for two hours. After that I had the "processing items" status that changed on "Preparing for shipment" on Oct 27th 02:45 pm (local time). I have an UPS tracking active with a strange situation I talked about here. Maybe is just a reference error BTW:

Yes, of course it's a reference error. Both the recipient and delivery date are incorrect!

I ordered an iPhone X 256GB in Space Gray at 9.03 AM. At 15.00 AM of the 27th (when I checked) it was on "Preparing to ship" just like your. I too live in Italy :)
I think that Apple will ship them via DHL

Hi Mich :) It's weird now talk in English but we have to, to respect other people. With iPhone 8, 8 Plus and Series 3 Watch, Apple used both UPS and DHL lately. For instance I received an 8 Plus with UPS and a case the same day with DHL. So we have to wait. If I can, where do you live? Did you heard about the strike in logistics planned between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31?

Last year my iPhone 7 Plus and MacBook Pro 15 inch. were ship with DHL.
I live in Sant'Antioco, a small island in south Sardinia. Here shipments need 48h. By shipping it on the 2nd November it should arrive on the 6th. I'm pretty sure that it'll delivered via DHL because it's the only courier that erroneously adds 1 more day to the expected delivery date. Apple in fact says that I'll receive it on the 7th, but I'm pretty confident for delivery on the 6th.

I heard about these strikes which already started last Friday (27/11), when I received shipments from Poste Italiane, UPS and GLS. Our iPhone should be shipped from Italy on the 2nd Nov., so I don't think there'll be delays :)

Understood. I live in Siena and here shipments need just 24h. At this point I think you're right and we will see the "shipped" status on Nov. the 2nd even if actually they are in transit from China to Somaglia (the Italian warehouse).

Yes. The only delay could be caused by the national holiday of the 1st November in Italy and in other European Countries. But I think (and hope) that Apple already knows that!

I pretend Apple knew that :D Particularly after the nightmare with the preorders and what I'm calling from some years now a truly lottery!

I'm pretty confident that they will respect our delivery dates :)

Anyway if you register to UPS MyChoice you can see all the shipments associated to your name and address, also if you don't know any reference or tracking number.
I refresh the delivery calendar on the UPS web-site at least once an hour, but nothing from Apple. Some USA customers can already track their shipments (made via UPS).

Already done. This is an handy killer feature of UPS. About refreshing, I use mail notification so when the label will be created I'll receive a mail (handy because in the UPS calendar a shipment appears only after pick up).
Unfortunately the same service is available for DHL :(

Yeah.. at least we're lucky and we'll receive it next week (or some days later in my case).
People who pre-ordered it after just 10 or more minutes after the open have to wait weeks or months..

Apple says that I'll receive my Product(RED) Leather Case on the 3rd November. I think it will be shipped via UPS from Italy on the 31st of October. Curiously it changed to "preparing to ship" one day later that the iPhone order, although I'll receive it earlier

I know people trying the Apple Store option even if I expect dangerous queues.

Perfect same situation with the case here too (except I chose a Product(RED) silicone one). Given the 24h delivery zone I'll se it delivered on Nov. 2nd but, like you, I received the preparing to shipment status one day later.

We don't get any UPS tracking, only the US orders do. I'm pretty sure our phones are already sitting in one of the warehouses in Europe waiting to be shipped on Nov 2.

The reason for being unable to track is: Apple sents EU phones from China in batch shipments to Europe, because it's cheaper for them. Each phone/parcel doesn't have an assigned tracking number/shipping label yet.

The US orders have their tracking label printed in China, so that's why they're able to track their orders, but we aren't able to do that until the "last second".

I remember my 6s tracking only went live like 12 hours before I held it in my hands. It was is like ~23:00 the day before release.

I wouldn't worry too much. Except when they ship your phone with Hermes. Then it's time to panic.
