The tracking system at UPS has been incredibly slow and unreliable the past two days. I am still hopeful I can get it tomorrow.
Good news! I was due for November 29, but got to order my model of choice at Coolblue (Netherlands). It is coming TOMORROW! ?
Strange thing just happened. I was just on the phone with UPS complaining about their tracking, and they told me that it could be a "fake scan", as they see with the same tracking number a shipment clearing in Cologne. Someone mentioned earlier that Apple seems to obfuscate the tracking info, but I can't understand why...
Status of the Apple store changed from 'Processing' to 'Preparing to Ship'. Still expected 3 - 8 Nov, but at least there's progress. Haven't been able to find it on any of the shipping companies using the reference tracking method.
How long before actual shipping/delivery did it change to 'Preparing to Ship' for most people?

I was on the phone with Apple Support specialist now, and they called UPS for me and kinda said to not worry about it and that I'll get it on 28th.
I can’t for the life of me understand why you all going nuts about the tracking. Don’t meter how many times your calling the mbp will arrive when it will arrive.

I would also love to order there, but then I won't get my education discount which is almost 10% of the total. So I'll just wait until 17/11-24/11.
Try A-Mac. They have the same education discount as Apple. Ordered my 14” this morning with store pickup for today. Currently in the car underway to the store.

Do they also have the US keyboard? Because I am way too used to the US keyboard and I wouldn't like switching to the NL keyboard.
Edit: I see on the images on their website that it is the NL keyboard, so I'll just wait for my Apple store order

No. Stores don’t have US keyboards. If you need that you have to order via Apple.
My MBP is in the exact same situation (at customs clearance, same times). UPS says 28th, Apple says 27th. I'm sorta hoping/thinking Apple is right as it wouldn't need two more days really. We'll see.
I think we are in the same batch. Apple website quotes 28th for me. Might depend on the further distribution from the sorting hubs. We will know soon enough
I had a October 26th to Nov 3rd delivery window but it never moved past the initial order placed status whatsoever so I got up at 6:15 am this morning and will pick one up in 2 hours time
I actually regret getting a space gray one, because the black keyboard contrasts so nicely with the silver. But no way I'm going to cancel and re-order, and push my delivery date back another month or so!
