Status changed to “preparing to ship”.
Credit Card still not charged just reserved.
Hopefully it’ll arrive before Nov. 3, fingers crossed. ?

I have the same: credit card reserved yesterday night, and the status went to PTS a couple of minutes ago. Let's hope we'll get it this week ^^

Seems like the BTO models could be shipped directly from China and therefore are in PTS right now. Maybe the base models are already in Europe and are shipped directly to us, hopefully from tomorrow :)

I did buy 14” 32/512 from my local dealer webhallen.se I’m hoping to get it delivered before December.

My guess is that they will have placed the order to apple and they will send it to me :)

Why I did buy it from local dealer? Simple I want to sponsor them and I have other laws against them :)

Very similiar experience here. My orders always came from Prague, CZ via UPS or DHL Express and they were shipped one day before the delivery date.

All my orders in the past few months were delivered by UPS, though.

From my experience, Apple is sending custom configurations right after the launch directly from China with DHL Express. That’s why custom configurations might change to “preparing to ship” earlier because they are dispatched earlier, but need longer to arrive here in Europe. Default configs are probably already available in store in the Czech UPS storage.

I've had stuff sit in "preparing to ship" for up to two weeks. About 8 years ago I ordered a MacBook Air and it was the only time I could track the package from China to Rome. My last computer and most recent iPhone came by way of DHL via the Netherlands. Earlier this month my Apple Watch came from Czech UPS.

Does someone know the expected delivery dates from
amac(nl) for a stock MBP 16”(m1 pro,512ssd)? I plan to order it from there as i’ll be in NL for the next 3 weeks.
