I think we, or at least I, need to be gentle with the delivery man. As soon as I see him/her I will run as fast as I can towards him/her, yelling, laughing, shouting, jumping, hugging and take my package faster than a lightning bolt ?

In my case he even called 15 minutes before delivering the package to check if I was home, I think he noticed the excitement in my voice ... I tipped him also, which in Spain is a non-so-strange habit when they deliver groceries/food to your house, but not for ordinary packages, told him "next two beers you drink are on me!" ?

lol... @SirKeldon you were right, seems like DHL has really gone at warp speed overnight... now my package is already out for delivery ?... thanks for keeping us all sane over the past few days ?

Thanks to you for keeping the faith, I was in your position weeks ago, and the more info we have as tracking addicts, the better, this waiting game is harsh. Now your mission is to calm down future DHL fellas hahahaha

Well, I'm a complete mess today. Had a hard time falling asleep and then I woke up way too early. Tried to tell myself that I should go back to sleep and that it's just a computer, but noooo, some other part of me just yelled like Gollum, MY PRECIOUS!!!, so I had to check the tracking status and then it was impossible to go back to sleep.

Here in Sweden we never tip, for anything. But that was a really nice gesture of you, maybe that is something we should start here in Sweden as well.

But you were wrong that they were minutes away More like two hours away Yes, I have received my computer. I have received MY PRECIOUS!!!! ? Haven't used it yet though, it was way too cold when I opened the package. So needs a little time to get to room temperature. But he called me about five minutes before arriving, so it seems to be a common practice across boarders. Now I will see if it's warm enough to play with!

Hope all of you that are still waiting will get some good news today as well!

Last twist in the Macbook Pro delivery plot : I got a SMS from DHL stating that the MBP was going to be delivered tomorrow Dec 15, so I changed the delivery date to Dec 16 because I wouldn't be available tomorrow... and the MBP was delivered this morning. It was scanned in Paris around 6 AM and delivered 4 hours later.
Ordered Nov. 3, 16" space gray 10/32/64GB/2TB

Timeline:

• 26 Nov: Placed my order. Estimated delivery between 10–17 Dec
• 3 Dec: Credit card charged
• 7 Dec: Order prepared for shipping
• 9 Dec: Order shipped (15 Dec estimated delivery)
• 10 Dec: Invoice (dated 8 Dec) received
• 13 Dec: DHL message for 15 Dec estimated delivery is received
• 14 Dec: DHL estimated delivery updated to 14 Dec
• 15 Dec: Original estimated delivery

Just got a notification that my package is **really** out for delivery. Looks like I'm going to be the last one to get their delivery ? The old DHL basement employee probably had to catch up on some sleep. I guess it'll arrive around dinner time if it really is starting from Nürnberg ...

I only ordered mine this week and the store notified that "something would happen by Dec 15th" (whatever that means). Anywho, reading how things have moved this week, I´m hopeful that it should be arriving by next week although it doesn´t make sense given how long all of you have waited ?.

Damn, my latest status is still Processed at LEIPZIG - GERMANY

DHL still state that it should arrive by the end of today here in Denmark, but it is not noted as "out for delivery" nor scanned here in Denmark so I very much doubt I will get it today. No issue with that, now I'm more stressed out about whether they "misplaced" it. Oh boy....

I know the feeling man. It was the same for me, and the wait was worth it.

I wanted to give the UPS guy a tip, no one does it in Finland either, but I'm a yank, so it's sort of in my blood. Only problem is no one has cash here anymore, I think the UPS guy just appreciated the thought.

One good think about UPS is they keep their drivers around, so you start to know the delivery person. It makes a difference IMO.

Hope you will get it before Christmas! I don't know how much longer it will take by ordering through an authorized reseller, but I don't see any reason why it should take that much longer by using an authorized reseller.

Well, @SirKeldon has taught me to be an optimist, so keep being an optimist and wonders might happen But, if you have ordered some configuration with 64GB of RAM, be prepared that it might take a long time before something happens.
