Damn, my latest status is still Processed at LEIPZIG - GERMANY :(

DHL still state that it should arrive by the end of today here in Denmark, but it is not noted as "out for delivery" nor scanned here in Denmark so I very much doubt I will get it today. No issue with that, now I'm more stressed out about whether they "misplaced" it. Oh boy....

Hang in there! If it doesn't arrive today then it surely must arrive tomorrow. However, strange that your package wasn't on the same truck/plane as mine? My package made a stop at Copenhagen before it continued to Sweden. And since you are in Denmark, then it feels that your package should have been together with mine. Hopefully you will get it tomorrow if not today!

I know the feeling man. It was the same for me, and the wait was worth it.

Yeah, at the same time it's pretty ridiculous. There are more important things in life than a computer, and yet it has such a strong affect on oneself. I'm getting too old for this sh*t ;)

But sure, the screen is gorgeous! And the keyboard is terrific so far. It even has a big Escape key. I'm almost terrified of it since it's so big (coming from a MacBook Pro 15" 2016, Touch Bar, no escape key)!

Yeah I get a bad vibe about this! Not even scanned at Copenhagen. We will see tomorrow. ?

I find it strange that my order status directly from Apple hasn't changed at all yet. I ordered a 16" 64gb 2tb ssd on November 22 and it is still just "6-8 Weeks until delivery" I should have gotten some kind of date by now, right?

"6-8 Weeks until delivery" is your approx. date :) Way too early I would say for an exact date. At least you will eventually have tracking of your order!

Personally, I have ordered from Apple Premium Reseller on 6th of November with in-store pickup and all I was told that MBP (M1 Max 10/24, 32GB, 512GB) will be delivered somewhere between 4 - 6 weeks. Suprising they don't have any tracking at all. Yesterday I read that M1 Max with 24c GPU (Binned) takes longer to deliver. Hopefully it will arrive before Christmas.

I ordered from Sweden, directly from Apple (homepage). You can see the dates below:

29/10: Ordered a Space Gray 16” Max M1, 10 CPU CORES, 32 GPU CORES, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD, SWEDEN
Estimated delivery: 13-20 December

8/11: New estimated delivery date: 7-14 December

30/11: Preauthorized card

4/12: Prepare to ship

6/12: Shipped (DHL, not able to track yet), will arrive 15:th December

7/12: DHL, Shipment information received

13/12: Processed at AMSTERDAM

14/12: Arrived
Yours came fast, you are lucky. Probably because it was directly from Apple. I ordered the same day with you from an Authorised reseller in Cyprus (Europe). They said "It could take 10-15 weeks, but usually they arrive in 10-12 weeks". I will receive if after new year I guess. ?

15 weeks?! That's over 100 days, that's insane. Even 10 weeks is insane, I don't know why you'd have to wait so long.

I guess I somehow just expected it to update with each passing week and then give me an estimated date after a few weeks of waiting. But maybe it'll just stay as processing with 6-8 weeks until delivery and then only update when there's like 1-2 weeks left from my order date in that 6-8 week window.

My card was charged, but now the amount is not visible anymore. However, status is Shipment Information Received since yesterday morning. Probably looking at a delivery next week?

So sorry to tell you that nope, it usually takes 4 days to one week since the card is charged till the package is "Shipped", from there, expect another week to be delivered to your home.

My personal experience was: charged on 22-23th Nov, Shipped on 27th Nov, Delivered 2 Dec

Your MBP though, has started the journey, so cheer up! :)

Thanks for the shared insights! Indeed it's moving, so that got me happy already. If it arrives this week, next week, week after or only after then it's not a super big deal. It's worth taking the US keyboard over the EU one and waiting a bit longer. Gives my time to let my 15" mentally go haha

Just got it! Yay!

It departed from a DHL facility LEIPZIG - GERMANY during the night and was scanned in Copenhagen this morning, then out with courier for delivery. Getting very close to 5 PM, I thought it wouldn't happen today either - but here the baby is.

For the record, ordered on 3th November: 16" SG M1 Max 64GB Ram + 1 TB SSD.

Well, I don't know if I'm that lucky compared to others in this forum that ordered directly from Apple. I have seen plenty of people ordering after me but received their computers before me. But the 64GB configurations seem to be harder for Apple to push out than those with less RAM. And, unfortunately, it seems that if you haven't ordered directly from Apple it might take even longer :( But 10-15 weeks is just crazy! The longest waiting time if you order directly from Apple now is 6-8 weeks, shorter if you choose 32GB or less of RAM. But, hopefully you will see some movement soon. I don't see any reason why it should take longer just because you didn't order directly from Apple, but then again, I don't know the process.

For me it took seven days after DHL status page showed "Shipment information received" until it arrived. So you're not there yet, but it's close! Hopefully you will have some luck and get it before the weekend!

For me it took seven days after DHL status page showed "Shipment information received" until it arrived. However, my card was preauthorized six days before that, but charged the day after DHL updated their status page to "Shipment information received". So your status seems to follow the same pattern as my status and if so, then you should receive it next week.

YAY!!! But as they say (at least here in Sweden): "The one who waits for something good, never waits too long." Or as I prefer to say it: "The one who waits for something good, always waits too long."

Managed to pull some info from the reseller. They now have a preliminary date of the 22nd of December. Still no more than guesses on why it’s been delayed more than 4 weeks from the original ETA and will be more than 9 weeks from order date.

Can’t believe I chose the reseller when I thought the Apple Store delivery was late with an ETA of 22/11 haha.

I had the same reaction when they told me.

They are probably placing their orders to Apple UK or Apple Ireland. It takes I guess 1-2 weeks extra for the shipping from these Countries to mine and +4 weeks because Apple prioritises the orders placed from their physical stores in these Countries instead of treating all orders by date. ?

Apple probably treats orders that come directly from their apple stores with "high priority" and the ones that come from authorised resellers as "low priority".

For me the worst part is that I can't actually see the process of the order. No tracking number. They just tell you 10-15 weeks and you just wait for a phone call when its in their store ready for next day delivery. ?‍?

Yeah my experience with DHL has been 6-7 days mark for the product to arrive to final destination :D so I would love for friday, but most likely monday is a more realistic mark.

I know your pain, I once bought a Wacom Cintiq 32" display, but the necessary stand to use it properly, didn't arrive until 6 months later.... Wait game is a annoying game :( hope you'll get it soon from 3rd party shop
