EUROPE MacBook Pros 14” and 16” inch Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status

Managed to pull some info from the reseller. They now have a preliminary date of the 22nd of December. Still no more than guesses on why it’s been delayed more than 4 weeks from the original ETA and will be more than 9 weeks from order date.

Can’t believe I chose the reseller when I thought the Apple Store delivery was late with an ETA of 22/11 haha.

May I ask which country are you and the Reseller name? I've ordered the MBP (16" M1 Max 24c, 32GB, 512GB) in Slovakia (from istores.sk) on November 6th, and all I know is it takes somewhere between 4-6 weeks (last week I was told it could be up to 7), and that's it. No tracking or other info about the order. ?

I ordered on Nov 3rd from Cyberport.de. A few days ago they told me "your product is currently in production and could be in stock with us in 2 weeks" ?‍♂️

I've worked at a reseller before and the 'funny' (it's sad actually) is that your BTO machine is handled the same way as you would do at Apple directly yourself. At the end of the day/week there's a person ordering your specced machine through a portal very similar to the one for customers at Apple.com. If there's a benefit in warranty extension etc then it could be good to order at your local reseller, but my actual advice for the future would be to always directly order at Apple (if available for your country), same goes for iPhones. Apple stores have stock at hand at some days whilst resellers have looooong waiting lines.

Yeah.. I’ve always done it through apple previously but thought (in a weak moment apparently) the store would have an order of let’s say 10 of the most commonly specced ones on the day of the launch - oh well!

I’ve been among the first 3 in line since day one and the order went through the day after preorders opened. So seems like something else has been an issue too.

Had a chat with two other resellers in the country they seem to have the same problem with the same “we have no idea what’s going on” answer.

:-( Yes, you could try, but the shipping companies are overloaded.

Lets hope this is a overpromise and they deliver BEFORE 24th like some others have experienced!

Idk if it's going to be here on time before I have to go out of town, but there is hope!

If you take a look at previous posts regarding DHL behaviour, is more than likely that you'll get it by the 21st or 22nd as they state, or even on Monday, they tend to take 4 to 6 working days since the label is created ("Shipped" status) till it arrives to NL Hub, from there, add 24/48h delivery depending on courier workloads.

So it's more than probable that your MBP lands during this weekend or "officially" on Monday, and from there, you'll get the DHL SMS indicating you the real delivery date. I know this is the hardest part, but don't worry, your package is on the way and with high chances that you get it on Monday/Tuesday, hold on as best as possible!

Hope it's on time for you. Did you have a phone contact provided? I think DHL sends SMS messages if they plan it definitly.

I can say that I'm very jealous of all of you guys, I ordered MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max-32 core, 64GB, 2TB SSD Space Grey on October 28th through reseller here in Slovenia, and I still have no idea when will it come. When I asked them couple of days ago if they have any new info, they said that they don't and that they will update me when it comes to Apple's European central storage, which I guess is Eindhoven. But still, how is it possible that they don't have any info on the package? Could it be that they just can't be bothered with it so they don't tell me? Anyone have any info in regards to buying MacBook Pro from reseller, did anyone get their higher spec Mac from reseller?

My replacement 14" MBP SG that was ordered last week will be delivered either on Monday or Tuesday instead of end of January! I double checked with Apple Support when I got a mail with tracking today as I was like "it can't be that fast, they said late January".

Same issue here after ordering from a Premium Authorized Reseller in Switzerland. I ordered a Macbook Pro 16 M1 Pro, 32 GB, 1 TB SSD Space Grey on Octobrer 25th. I don't know when it will arrive, it has already been 8 weeks...

When I asked for a status a couple of weeks ago to the reseller (on Dec 2), they told me "The Swiss Apple distribution talks about year's end or early January and mentions the worldwide chip shortage as the primary reason. We hope there won't be further delays and have to wait for the actual deliveries." So frustrating, at that time, I would still have the same delivery dates if I ordered the same configuration on the Apple Store directly on Dec 2... My order through the reseller was almost 6 weeks before LOL. So disappointing that Apple so highly prioritize the orders done through the Apple Store. The reseller also told me they never had this much delay compared to Apple's direct channel before the pandemic/chip shortage situation.

Yes, DQ Solutions here as well (with Educational discount).. If I had known it would have take that much time, I would have ordered directly through the Apple store without the discount...

Wow thats horrible news. I will probably contact them and I will ask for the my options in current situation as I had to pay 20% upfront. Honestly I am considering to cancel the order and order it again through the Apple Store. Unbelievable. There should be no prioritization of orders done through Apple.com.
