More news from reseller in Slovenia. He said, that he is not 100% sure that this configuration will come at all. If it comes, it could be in february, march. I ordered 16" MAX 32-core 64GB 2TB on 21th october and already fully paid it.
The worst experience from Apple of a decade!
That's disgusting. Apple is managing this horribly. I would understand if everyone didn't receive their laptop, but people who order through Apple website MONTHS later than we get it earlier than we do. It's really a slap in the face to all of us who paid in advance.

@Juraj22 I have some news regarding the orders from iStores (SK). The original delivery window which was 4-6 weeks and got additionaly shifted to 5-7 weeks. When I was in store personally (approx 19th of December) I was told it will be between 8-9 weeks. On the 24th of December I received an email with apologies and reasons (Christmas, too many orders made) why the delivery has been shifted yet again to 9-10 weeks. Now (11th of January) this is the 10th week of wait. I guess this is it for me, if they won't be able to deliver it this week, I'm going to ask them to return the amount paid and I will order it from the official store where the current windows says ~8th Feb for the M1 Max CTO.

The worst buying experience in years. ?

Did they provide you any delivery window info? (Do they provide different dates for different orders just to keep the orders running?) I just noticed you have been waiting 12 weeks. That's crazy!

I'll ask about update tomorrow. It is sad that they are not able to deliver. on istores web delivery for max configuration is as "unknown date".

Friend of my got 16' pro version yesterday from m-zone. Maybe there are some constrains on how many max CPUs Apple(well, TSMC) can actually produce, and demand is much higher. But it is hard to believe considering that Apple web is saying 3-4weeks for base configurations and CTO 6-8weeks.

I am willing to wait till February, than I cancel my order. It is already fully paid. Sad.

We ordered a Max '16 32 core 1tb from a major reseller on October 28th, through our company account. Norway. "Uncertain" delivery date just keeps getting bumped a week or three every now and then. At the time of order delivery was proposed to be in mid December. Reseller seems to know nothing substantial.

Expected a long wait, but this is really dragging on to the limits of my patience. Especially since my main video editing Windows laptop got busted just a couple of days after the order (irony). I'm now forced to do fairly complex 4k projects on an M1 Air. Puts me in a pinch work-wise as I'm simply lacking adequate hardware. Since the Max is supposedly around the corner you can't just run out and buy something either.

Bleh. We need to form a support group ?

I ordered on 20th October in Slovakia in mZone, fully paid in advance for 16'' M1 Max 64GB RAM 1TB and I still have no info whatsoever, it's exactly 12 weeks after order. It seems that all the max configurations went to wannabe "youtubers", who never needed it for real job...really bad experience from Apple

It's finally here! Yesterday, out of nowhere, the premium reseller (DQ-Solutions; Switzerland) I ordered my 14" MAX 24-core 32GB 1TB in silver sent me an invitation to pick it up.

10/19/2021 Order placed
In between, there were several changes to the expected delivery dates.
01/12/2022 Now, almost 3 months (12 weeks or 85 days) later, it's here. It is beautiful!

But I'm glad the wait is finally over and it was worth it!

I ordered my 14 "10 core / 1 TB silver (standard configuration only) in early December from a premium retailer in Italy. Still pending and no delivery date after 6 weeks of waiting.
My setup is still available on amazon and has been several times on the Apple Store and online.
Dealers are the last to be stocked.

I am actually glad to hear that since I had the feeling there would be no movements at all at DQ-Solutions ;P but now hoping they will get more soon! I think I will break the 13 week mark easily… :S

It's really depressing to read how long this is all taking... Especially since here in the NL we're in a lockdown... would be so much nicer to have a new Mac to keep me entertained... Still no movement on the apple store app though. Still "Processing" a week before the delivery window starts...

Finally the status changed from "Processing" to "Preparing to ship". Exactly one week before the delivery window! Ordered directly from Apple. So here's hoping it will be here a little early (fingers crossed)!

Ordered mine via the Apple website on Wednesday evening, picked it up in the Apple Store in Amsterdam yesterday.
Maybe it's a 'common/standard' model? 16 Gb, 1 TB, 14 inch.
Yeah probably. I ordered with more RAM... so that's probably why it took so long. When I ordered there was also no pick-up option...

Can't believe it! Just right around the 12 weeks mark, I finally got my laptop (16" CTO, 24-core, 32GB, 1TB) from the premium reseller in Switzerland :)
Ordered: 25/10/2021
Received: 14/01/2022

Glad you got your Mac! I’m curious though why you ordered it from a reseller instead of Apple directly, since Apple has a presence in Switzerland? I’m also in Switzerland and ordered my CTO 14-inch M1 Max/10/24/32 config on 1 November from Apple and it arrived on 24 November. It seems like the resellers take more time.

Hi. I’ve ordered my MBP 16” M1 Max 64GB/1TB on 19th October 2021 via the premium reseller in Poland. Still waiting for it, recently got a message from reseller that my order maybe will be delivered somewhere in February, without exact date. Order in „procesing” state. I wonder how long will it take…
