I find this approach of Apple to serve official store customers first and retailer later very disturbing and annoying. At the end of the day, we pay the same price, why would I have to wait longer and with very disappointing (or none) information how long it will take? I paid in advance 4200 Eur for a notebook and nobody gives a **** when it will be delivered? It's been 13 weeks (I ordered 21th October) and even the retailer (m-zone in Slovakia) doesn't know anything. If there would be different option for me, I would be happy to choose different company or brand, but unfortunately there is not...Currently there are tons of different crappy legislations in EU, there should be also one about high fines for company which introduces a product, which they know is not possible to deliver in the next 6 months. And it's not only about Apple, it's quite common these days that they introduce product in June and they already know they won't be able to deliver it until January next year - but they are still charging you now...And no - it's not about the pandemic at all - this is happening for quite some years already. Pandemic is just a very popular excuse for delayed deliveries these days.
