In Spain, that model seems like the Unicorn, theoretically meant to be in "Stock" but no store has them, maybe they appear and they fly away so fast that I'm unable to see the availability, seems plausible.

I know it's a bummer to have to wait again, but I think it's the best option if you need the machine ASAP; if you place an order now, I think you'll have about 1.5-2 weeks to lurk around for any available stock before Apple charges you and starts the real process so you can cancel it, if not, then just 2 weeks more and the machine will be with you.

If you're curious/interested regarding local stock, there are some tools to check via the store code so you can lurk multiple ones w/o having to hassle with Apple's website directly. Here you can find one of those, meant to be used with Node.js and checking just MBP14/MBP16 (UK is supported AFAIK)

Do you know how long it usually takes from when Apple sends notification that order was shipped to actually receiving it? I live in middle Europe and DHL is shipping the order.

It's so ridiculous reading this Reddit thread. People order BTO configurations in December and get them within two weeks.

Count 4-6 working days from the "Shipped" Apple mail till it arrives to DHL NL hub, and don't expect the tracker to change within those days cause probably it won't, it will be "Shipment information received, label created" ... but you'll be "blind" till it arrives to Eindhoven/Amsterdam, once it lands, you'll get a SMS from DHL and from there, expect a 24/48h delivery depending on your country and courier workloads.

PS: This was my personal experience 3 weeks ago, as well as many other DHL fellas from before and after, IDK if "Christmas" campaign is affecting to their delivery dates though, so take those as an average. Good luck and hope you get your MBP soon!

Received my replacement MBP today (did not receive packaging to return the old one though, we are not entirely to the end of this story). Thing I really noted is that the entire keyboard of the new MBP is better, it's not just that one mushy key but this new MBP has a way better keyboard. Happy I got that replaced!

Interestingly the M1 Max 14” are all 14th Feb to 1st March.

I just talked to DQ (a premium reseller in Switzerland) they said, that the orders from October are gonna arrive in the next few days and they will probably be able to ship them in early January.

They also said that the distribution channels (between apple store and resellers) are completely separated and that's why people who order through apple are receiving their machines. This also means that Apple is prioritizing their own store... Well at least I could save some money this way but the waiting without any tracking is killing me. I think next time I'm ordering directly through apple.

I just got the information from DQ that they have received my order and it is going to be shipped to me today. Hopefully you will also receive yours soon!

I ordered 5.12. from Apple, I was billed 21.12. and Mac was send 22.12. I have recieved it yesterday. (27.12. in the evening I got notification that DHL received Mac in Netherlands and in less than 24 hours I received Mac in Czechia.)

another order here from an authorized reseller, this time from Romania that's delayed with no clear date of delivery.
I ordered mine on the 10th of November, a silver 16" m1 max 24 GPU. At this rate I hope I get it this winter...

After ordering with a reseller on 29th October, cancelling 23rd December, ordering with Apple on the 27th December I have now cancelled again after reserving one at the Apple store earlier for collection tomorrow!

Mine is like this as well. Ordered November 22. 16" with 64gb. Still says 6-8 weeks and processing. Shipping to Denmark. You're not alone. It is kinda weird that we're not getting an estimated date even if it is a far out date.

It seems to be different for everyone but it seems around that week in November the dates are very vague. I have not really heard of cases where the macbooks dont arrive within that time period but still.

My guess is they foresee a higher shortage in 2022.
