Can I throw a question out: Is the Midnight Ocean band actually black (like Apple’s midnight leather cases) or a deep navy blue (like Apple’s midnight-colored laptops and watches)?

I used it for two years of workouts every day, with a few days off here and there for the last few months after getting a starlight solo. I will be a little more careful the next time it catches a lot of friction on my wrist while putting it on after a long walk in kinda hot weather.

It does feel like over time perhaps the metal lug inside there was slowly sawing away at the rubber. If it happens again with a daily driver workout band, I’ll be concerned.

Definitely try to see Elderberry Loop in person, much more candy vibrant than the product marketing image.

Pretty wild there’s only three purple sport loops from the non-Nike collection and Elderberry is the first dark blue-purple (we could also consider Midnight Blue 2 partially purple)

I think the moral of the story is, never put a solo loop on a watch without Applecare!

Alternately just always have one or more of your five watches be under warranty!

Even if they hadn’t sent me a replacement $49 band I’d rather eat the $20 I paid for this Deep Navy than pay for extra warranty.

I’m going to my grave never paying Apple an extra cent for insurance

Sooooo slight as others have shown on here. Honestly might be down to the s7 yarn being shinier. So it’s good news for people who missed charcoal.

Midnight BSL is a capable replacement.

Also: if you have a choice between charcoal and midnight, avoid charcoal because it’ll get loose so much faster.

I thought I was going crazy...I have 3 BSL all from the "first" generation of BSL-AW6, and Charcoal is the one that stretched THE MOST by FAR. How is that?
If I find a good deal on the midnight I might sell the charcoal...sadly my size (2) is really hard to find 2nd hand.

Any series 6 BSL will stretch equally badly. It could be your charcoal came out of the box with some extra length.

I have all the series 8 BSL sealed and only rainforest has some extra length. And 7 is a little tight so it’s fine by me.

My Red1 came from the factory even longer than that and it’s annoying.

I can't stop buying bands!!! I had thought I completed my FALL 2022 collection. But after seeing your sport loop I now want Elderberry, Storm Blue, and Red sport loop.

I just ordered 42 MM Apricot & Spicy Orange which should complete my orange collection.
