Couldn't resist the urge just ordered all 3 45MM Sport loops and preordered the 49MM Yellow Ocean Band to go with my Apple Watch Ultra
Noticed something interesting.
I have very large wrists, so I get to watch your collections. Very few OEM Straps will fit. I mostly use Sport Band in XL, but there is only ever one color option available. Have also used Sport Loop in XL. Oddly the Alpine Loop will fit, but barely. No Solo Loops, etc.
As the new Sport Band XL is Midnight, I was excited as I’ve been wearing Black for four years. I ordered a new Sport Loop for the Ultra, looks good.
Noticed a sale on a site for the previous generation Sport Band in XL so decided to get a backup. Color is pretty similar, but I noticed the Series 7 XL came with the standard M/L along with the XL. The Series 8 does not.

Is there a database anywhere that has every watch strap to browse and compare? I'm looking at getting some old styles from eBay but it's a pain trying to figure out when a specific style was released and if there's a 'better' version to be had.

i ordered one out of curiosity and was deeply surprised/impressed, how pleasant those ocean bands are! Same with the Alpine loops.. suuuper lightweight and breathable.... have to admit, that i like those new bands a lot so far!
Really looking forward to the still missing Trailloops 😊
Slate Blue is way more unique than a faded blue should be. It really doesn’t look like any other band like you’d think it should.
Would anyone consider $40 for a brand new, sealed Seafoam SB a "yoink"? Chargie wanted $70 for an open box one!

Based on the information we collected and the filter in the app set to Extra Large, there're only very few available in Extra Large over the years—with Blue Jay/Abyss Blue being extremely colourful in comparison to everything else released for larger wrists.
I know there was a white Sport Loop as well when they were 42mm as I have one. This is a great resource, thank you!
Would you post a comparison next to similar colors? 😅
I can't confirm a White Sport Loop (probably Seashell?), but there was indeed a White Sport Band in L/XL available (ML9H2), which will be added to the database. Thank you for pointing this out!
Does anyone with a space grey Apple Watch and some of the new bands styles made for the ultra could show how they pair together? I’d be interested in the Alpine and Trail bands, but I don’t know how they’ll look with my S4 space grey Apple Watch…

Here is a Series 4 Space Grey with Ocean Band and with Alpine Loop. I do not have the other.

Thanks! I wonder is they’ll eventually introduce a darker Ultra and band lugs to go with it, cause I’m not convinced with the alpine band…
