I want an actual orange either Nike or preferrably Apple Sport Band. Like real orange to match the current leather case/wallet. An orange you can sit with.
I always bristle at everyone’s pet theories about apple’s business agreements but Hermes orange blocking “total orange” Nike bands feels true.
University red sport loop would be a nice consolation for a sport loop, now that apple is choosing to work with so many of the classic Nike colors rather than seasonal hotness.
Maybe one day I will get desperate/crazy enough to drop the $200 on a Hermes sport band from eBay. Possibly this year with the hopeful Watch Ultra 2.
At one point it seemed like apple dumped a bunch of 44mm orange and 40mm black because they had those old size markings…not hard to get that orange for 100, especially if you look on Mercari. Also are you familiar with the apple support method?
Find an Hermes serial in your size on eBay et al
Contact apple support with that serial saying you lost/damaged your “Hermes, orange sport band, 45mm” and would like to pay for a repair order.
It’s very very hit or miss whether your agent will have any idea what you’re talking about, but if you can be patient and get there, they will email you to pay 49+shipping to get the band.
Because you’re paying, I don’t think it’s at all sketchy to borrow a serial. Literally dumping forty bucks plus shipping profit in their hands.

Based on everyone’s recent accounts on the Hermes thread, it seems to have gotten harder, but I don’t know someone had success recently. And I think we’re far enough past the fall launch that their repair stock is replenished.
Let’s face it…. In this world, if you don’t cheat…. You’re only hurting yourself! 😉 lol
I did it last week and received my black sport band replacement. BUT they asked me not only for the Hermes Watch serial number but also for the iPhone serial number that is linked to it, to avoid cheating. Just to let you know 🫠
With my luck this is exactly what would happen to me and I would have to stammer and hang up as quickly as possible. And probably be put on some type of list 😂.
Oooooo…. They are being sneaky sneaky….. they obviously are now aware of this loophole. Doesn’t hurt to try though!
There were a few Nike sport bands with dark blue incorporated….. obsidian/black, midnight navy/mystic navy and blue black/bright mango.
Oh a side note I just rememembered to download Bandbreite last evening and it's fantastic. Cannot wait for the iPad version.
