I bought a new Nike S5 last week and the stock band doesn’t click in correctly on the bottom side. It’s going to take an hour+ trip to an Apple store to -hopefully- get it replaced.
Try to slide it in place where it should be and press the button on the watch (which usually releases the band). It could “un-stuck) the tiny spring within the band’s connector and it would start “clicking” normallyI bought a new Nike S5 last week and the stock band doesn’t click in correctly on the bottom side. Has anyone had this issue with their watchbands? Bought this band directly from Apple and it doesn’t click in at all, whatsoever.
I like this one as well, kind of got overlooked I think.

This is nice, in an understated way. Not totally my style, I wish the strap didn’t show two colors sometimes, because only so much of it shows on my small wrist anyway.

9AM Eastern Time... still no band press release. That’s been the time lately for their press. Pride bands were already available for sale by now . They might be holding off not to take away from all of the protest news.
Maybe the guy responsible for selling watch bands called in sick today.Maybe it was always Tuesday...Monday could have been just to accommodate the keynote Tuesdays the last few years? I mean I know they’re not exactly dying to have people look at them on display/pickup but the whole “ship to store on Monday for Tuesday sales” thing might have some logic, somewhere?
So I actually dreamed last night that new bands were released (that’s what I get for reading this forum before bed I guess) and there was a new green sport band called “a good green” lol.9AM Eastern Time... still no band press release. Looters news* Everytime I turn on the news it’s a masked thug breaking into a bank or whatnot. But that’s the news for ya, glorifying the negative.9AM Eastern Time... still no band press release. 😂 I think we can all agree, but do we agree on what a good green is I wonder? So I actually dreamed last night that new bands were released (that’s what I get for reading this forum before bed I guess) and there was a new green sport band called “a good green” lol.
Just follow this guy to the end of the (non-pastel) rainbow! For some reason he wasn’t arrested this weekend...Looters news* Everytime I turn on the news it’s a masked thug breaking into a bank or whatnot. But that’s the news for ya, glorifying the negative.
But no news for us? Eh, I have mixed feelings. Mankind is a bit upside down at the moment, I don’t expect anything to be normal but not swallowing that new normal wash either.

Ugh, I need a S5. I love your photos- the colors really pop with those faces. Closest I can come to that on a S1 is the color watch face, and that face doesn't look quite as good as yours! My new bands. they look really cool: Nike Pride, 2020 Pride, Demin Blue (i bought it cause is the one that matches the California Navy Blue watch face.
I've seen that guy before. He tried to lure me down an ally way and sell me some "Magically Delicious Cocaine."Just follow this guy to the end of the (non-pastel) rainbow! For some reason he wasn’t arrested this weekend...

In all seriousness though I think we can agree there’s a pretty narrow range on the green we want/need/deserve. Call it kelly or emerald or limerick or peat...it’s basically a more saturated, slightly darker spearmint.Ugh, I need a S5. I love your photos- the colors really pop with those faces. Was the base color Spearmint? It's vibrant like spearmint, yet a much better shade. I’d even take racing green, though that’s prob a tad too dark to earn the “good” designation.

quick mock-up, the watch got adjusted with the bath water FYI

Yeah spearmint...which weirdly doesn’t resemble mint that much once I start seeing it with the lens of the Pixelmator sliders. And a very quick and dirty search reveals that in fact there’s no distinction in nature between spearmint and mint color wise...leading me to believe Apple’s rendition of spearmint is more Wrigley’s than nature. I guess peppermint factors in somewhere hereWas the base color Spearmint? It's vibrant like spearmint, yet a much better shade. I like it.
That’s definitely leprechaun green! In all seriousness though I think we can agree there’s a pretty narrow range on the green we want/need/deserve. Call it kelly or emerald or limerick or peat...it’s basically a more saturated, slightly darker spearmint.
