Just received midnight turquoise/aurora green
Can I just ask - is the Midnight Turquois/Aurora Green Nike band a blue band or a green band? I’ve seen loads of photos online showing it as blue but the pictures on Apple‘s website show is as green? Which is it?!
It’s the same colour as Dark Teal with a blue hole (called Aurora Green...). Dark Teal itself slightly hints Green perhaps, but it’s way more blue.

You see, this is the reason I asked my question - the above posts show the strap as blue (which looks really nice) , BUT, if you actually Google 'Dark Teal', you then get the true colour of the band (which is more green than blue and too green for my taste!).

In reality it first shows more the blueish and then the greenish tint.

Hey. Is 40€ for new Horizon Blue a Good Price?
Definitely. I paid $30 for a sealed one but that was a fluke. They go for above retail boxed.

I’d say it’s on par with the market, but not an especially great deal. In the UK at least, Blue Horizon seems to crop up on eBay a fair amount, and doesn’t usually go for above retail.

I made a little bit of money reselling an Ultra Violet (unfortunately turned out to be 38mm, so couldn't use it myself), so used the profits to go on a band spree on eBay - I need some more self control... Latest purchases I'm waiting for:

Flash Sport Loop - £23
Stone Sport Band - £16
Pine Green Sport Band - £28

All paid for by the UV profits and all are fairly good deals on their own, but do need to slow down I think!

Having looked back over past summer band releases, all reports I have read have said they have been released alongside the WWDC keynote, it appears they release them once the next Watch OS is out. Unless they are gonna do things differently now DD70369E-7507-4658-80BE-2F9B07097667.pngE753C920-5761-4DFA-90CC-F4B533291AFA.png60F9486C-0DF6-43B6-B75A-31E8F9E1D8CE.png

I think Apple has a lot of other problems to solve at the moment - this season bands collection renewal could be completely skipped.
Won’t be skipped, just delayed. Think about the process. They already have them made, and probably just sitting in a warehouse somewhere in the US waiting to be released and shipped out.

I’ll see you guys on the 22nd...

Here we are collecting all these colors, and I’m just as giddy about the plain white band. I’ve newly added white for $10, and somehow luckily got black NIB for $5. Needed the basics. I’m excited to see a new round of colors, hopefully? This is the first time I’ve paid attention to a release. I didn’t know they came every season until a few months ago. Now I have, thanks to second hand shopping, 30 bands? Thanks guys! 🤪

Love my white, but living in a dry and dusty environment, I can’t wear it around here without it turning brown. Wear my black every now and then, but I like the brighter colors. Wearing my first gen blue today. And, yeah, I only just recently paying attention to the releases as well. I think the spring bands were the first time I stalked Apple waiting for them to come out. Hope the summer colors are just as nice!

Hi, I'm new. I received my Nike Pride Band 3 days ago and I noticed a "strangeness". The shorter part of the band clicked right in, but the S/M part of the band (the one I use) just wouldn't click, it would continue to slide off the watch. I had to manually "center" the band to the watch and then I noticed that it wouldn't slide anymore (even if I don't clearly hear the "click" as for the upper half). I have to do this thing every time I put the band on, it's kind of annoying but at least I can use it eventually. Unfortunately I noticed that the M/L half of the band clicks perfectly in (but can't use it, too long for my tiny wrist) so it's just the S/M part that is clearly defective.

I was thinking about calling Apple to report the problem and ask for a replacement, but then I read that many people online had the same issue, so the replacement band could have the same problem or worse (someone can't get to click the band in at all, not even manually like I do).
So I'm kind of thinking to keep it the way it is. I hope it's safe for the watch though. It really sucks, for a 50 euros band I expected nothing but perfection. What do you think? Should I call Apple? Would Apple send me a new one if I do?

Thanks

Return it.

For that price you deserve something that works correctly.

They also need to know they're having quality issues.

Thanks, I'm thinking about calling them tomorrow. I hope they admit the issue and that the replacement process won't take too long. I work crazy hours at the hospital and it sucks even having to wait for UPS to come get the defective band and then again for it to bring the new one. Ugh.

As stated above, definitely call it in. If you go through Apple directly, the replacements ship MUCH faster than if you were to reorder yourself. This release appears to have more issues than any other I remember, but with all things we will always hear more about the defects and not nearly as many posts form people wother no issues. But for $50, no reason to live with anything you aren’t happy with.

Looks super clean against the gold! White or Soft White?

In a way I’m happy I get to take a spending break for like 2 weeks... on the other hand I was planning on grabbing the Studio AirPods and Airtags if they come to fruition. BYE MONEY.

That white on the stainless gold looks fantastic! I love my white band and wear it often.

I had the same issue with one side of my pride 2020 band. I called and they arranged an exchange no problem. They also set up the return where I could drop off the band or set a pickup within a window that works for me so hopefully one of these options will work for you. My new band is supposed to arrive today so fingers crossed all works well with this one.
