I wish the Marketplace on MacRumors wasn’t so prohibitive in terms of post count to access it. I would assume that most users on here are far below the required post count or tenure to view it. Reddit is where I end up listing most of the time because of that.
Understand it's frustrating, but I expect it's done that way to make it exceedingly hard to set up an account here just to scam people. If it was 20 posts, or a month, or something, it might make it worthwhile for some scammer types to cultivate accounts just to use for nefarious purposes.

  • ChargerStore on eBay (that seller specifically - many here have had very good luck with them),
  • random searching on eBay (caveat emptor),
  • the /r/AppleBandMarket subreddit,
  • the buy&sell forums here on MacRumors (need to have sufficient posting history to gain entry),
  • miscellaneous stores that have old stock (better if they're small and out of the way, or not online, as the major online ones all got cleared out by people searching before you, but when one season's bands gets discontinued right before the new ones come out, folks often find Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc., selling them at a discount to clear inventory of the "old" bands so people will buy the "new improved" ones 😂), and,
  • all sorts of other person-to-person selling sites, like, people have had luck on craigslist and nextdoor (lately people in the discounts thread here have been all hot on Mercari - I have no direct experience with that one - oh, check that discounts thread, it often has pointed to recently discontinued bands).
And Nike.com in some countries offloads old colours they find somewhere every so often.

I have access. It’s not all that.

I'm wishing that Apple could simply repeat Spring 2016 - looking at the big jpg of all the watchbands and colors, I see Yellow, Green, 2nd gen Blue, and maybe even Apricot - colors that I'd love to buy new, unused. And those colors were never represented in a loop, because 2016 was before the loops. So, I kind of wish we could just go back in time to spring 2016, it looks like it was a good season for Apple watch bands.

But then they’d become less rare :(

This is pretty useful to decide on bands:

This thread is so bad for me. I have coming: Pink Stripe (Maybe my all time fave and I need a new one), 2018 pride (first two from iChernov), sunshine loop (BB sale), pomegranate loop (eBay open box for 35, peacock leather loop (full price). And I just got Nike pride.

On the way, I have:
- Papaya SB
- Taupe Classic Buckle
- Chinese New Year Woven Nylon
- Space Orange Woven Nylon

Replacement 2020 pride band came and it’s still not clicking in 😩😫😭
So weird!

Is it the only band you’ve had this problem with? Any chance there is something in the watch channel blocking it from locking?

If you flip the orientation, and put the pin clasp in the bottom channel, and the long pice up top, does it lock that way?

I have never once had this issue with any band, including my pride SBs. Is this a flaw with the S4 design? Has anyone had this issue on a S3 or older?

I tried it with the large band and it locked in easily. Now I have to decide if I want to just keep it and wear it with the longer band on the first hole (which means it wraps all the way around my wrist) or try to return it again. It’s so pretty I don’t want to give up on it.

You paid $50 for a watch band. I’d return it until I get one that works as intended.

I called them. They will not send out a second replacement. I have to return this one and reorder if I want. Think I will wait a while before reordering. I also asked the lady about summer bands. She said they don’t know when they are coming but she thinks they will be delayed this year.

Hi, I've had the same issue with the S/M half of the band, which just wouldn't click. I had to manually center the band and push it toward the watch to lock it in place. I was about the call Apple and ask for a replacement but then I tried the band one last time and since yesterday it seems to correctly click in place, all of a sudden. So from my experience I'd tell you to try to lock the band manually, if it works, use it this way for a couple of days, and it might adjust by itself within 2 or 3 days. If not, order a new one.

I did that but it just slips through super easily. The long band locks in just like normal.

That's really unfortunate and from what I hear a common issue with the pride bands. I hope they improve their quality check because it's embarrassing, a 2 dollars third part band clicks in way better than OEM. I don't know how that's possible.
