Always interesting seeing which bands people choose to keep... here's my collection, and I also found a photo from the end of 2016 where I did a little band audit! A little more modest compared to some enviable collections, but still pretty extravagant... life is short I suppose!

2016: Black WN, Navy/Tahoe WN, Scuba WN, Yellow/Grey WN, Silver/Volt NSB, Green SB, White SB, Product Red v1 SB, Midnight Blue SB, Stone LL

2020: Platinum/Black NSB, Black (silver pin) SB, Blue Horizon SB, Surf Blue SB, White SB, Product Red v1 SB, Product Red v1 SL, Khaki SL, Flash SL, Scuba WN, Orange Stripe WN

Pretty neat collection. I guess my taste lined up better with 2016 you, because I want/have most of those, yet I don’t feel as strongly on your current rotation. Woven Nylons always win, though.

So I was thinking today.... Apple still has the "new" badge/label on Cactus, surf blue, etc. Don't they usually take this distinction off if the products have been on the market a while/new ones are about to be released?

Hell, if so, it might be WWDC before we see summer bands.

Found a photo of my collection from July 2019. Look at young little me, with only 3 OEM bands. (Milanese and SL are knockoffs)View attachment 921425
Also just realizing I went from 3 to 71 in less than a year... oops.
Lol I love the Colgate on the AirPods!
71! nice! This is none of my business but may I ask what kept you from upgrading from the series 1? Feel free to go tell me to pound sand.

You would think us promoting his store constantly and buying like 5-10 bands a year would grant us some air to talk about the wolf gray/black and black/aurora green. Both band pics you can find in this thread by the way, before a bunch of redacted posts by me and other people who got those bands after the initial posts that generated all the hubbub, which we kindly did at his request.

Some cargo khaki/blacks have been going for not crazy amounts on ebay, but in live auction and always with a good amount of grease/shine! I’m waiting for a random seller (most likely Mercari) to not know what they have. Of course every fifth anthracite listing makes my ears stand up not unlike my avatar.

I’d love to purchase the black/aurora green band I’ve seen floating around on here. PM me prices for anyone that can get ahold of one, or know someone that can. I’d really appreciate it.

Anywho... some quick shots of the state of my collection before I leave most these babies at home while I go on vacation. Pretty proud of how far I’ve come in a year’s time. Not so proud of the money I’ve spent to get here though... I try not to think about it

Also, apologies for the lighting. Don’t exactly have a studio setup.

71 OEM bands with 4 more on the way. 5? I’m not sure. I’ve lost count. Probably for the best.

It's finally here: The newest version of the chart is now available for download. 🤩.
The all-new, built from scratch chart is the first one available in high-resolution as PDF with full-text search.

View attachment 921253.View attachment 921254

In the last couple of (very long) days I re-downloaded every single image of more than 350 bands officially released since 04/2015 and rearrange the bands while completed model numbers where possible. The arrangement of colors now more consistent with the updated version of v1 from @emiaj. (Thank you for the continuous updates!) New, better quality images of Woven Nylon International Edition were added as well. The (compact) chart is finally up-to-date. 🤗.

The chart is now available in two versions: A single-page PDF, and a more printer-friendly multi-page PDF with bands from Nike and Hermès on dedicated pages.

To "celebrate" I created a mini-website, where you can download the chart and where you can expect updates in a reasonable time after new bands are announced/released.

Don't worry. Of course, I will keep posting any new updates here, where everything started a while ago.

Download the new chart here: www.bandbreite.watch

Feel free to drop me a line with comments, suggestions and requests.

Know issues: Images are missing for Hermès Single Tour Étain Swift Leather (2015), Woven Nylon Pride Edition (2016) and Hermès Double Tour Médor Deep Blue (2020); Model numbers reflect mostly 42/44m only; Midnight Blue, Pink Sand, and Stone 2nd Gen will be added in the next update (Summer/2020)
So I've been waiting all day since seeing this at breakfast to have a chance to download it, but I just seem to get busier with work every day.

Thanks for your awesome work. You fed my band addiction so I fed your caffeine addiction 👍

Great work! I’ve noticed a tiny mistake. In both charts, the Nike Sport Loops have the wrong little description paragraph (it has the same description as the Nike Sport Band “lightweight fluoroelastomer with compression-molded perforations for breath ability”).

Otherwise, beautiful chart. Really helpful to compare colors .

Oh, that's unexpected. Thanks for catching that! Corrected, and uploaded a new version.

For a long time I didn't bother with alternative bands as I was still wearing alternative watches. Now I feel sufficiently wedded to the AW I've started a small collection. I haven't added any more formal bands yet but that is down to current lack of opportunity to go anywhere formal!

Nike Black, Surf Blue, Khaki sport loops, Blue Horizon, Pine Green and White (42mm) Sport bands.

For the blue experts.... Gen 2 next to a Gen 1 or a very faded Gen 1 next to a new Gen 1?

They don’t seem different enough to my eyes to be completely different gens and the lug colors support that. Yet... they appear different enough. The one on the right came from a sealed box so I can confirm it’s Gen 1.

My Blue gen2 arrived today. There’s no way the one on the left is gen2. It was fully dark here before I got it so I didn’t try a photo, but they are so different I’m pretty sure I could tell them apart without having both to compare.

Given I ordered Blue gen2 on 4th May and on 3rd May I ordered Canary Yellow and Blue Horizon from that same seller in the UK I’m expecting the long awaited Horizon to come soon.

Some of the eBay listings make me smile. These are still available in the Apple store at £49 for delivery tomorrow. He is though, open to offers, perhaps he is just being optimistic.

That Pine Green looks really nice. I’ve got one in the post coming to me this week, even more pleased now!

Can you take a pic of get 1 and get 2 next to each other? I'm having a hard time deciding which I have.

To those who have the midnight turquoise/aurora green, can you post real life pics?

I’m not normally a big green person but this one is intriguing and I’m trying to decide. My other NSBs include royal pulse/black and platinum white/black.

I wonder if Apple will release a bright orange or pink NSB anytime soon.

Thx
