Pretty new to these- in fact I only just learned of them today, but it seems there are only about 4-5 people who got one, and the seller ran out nearly 8 months ago. You’d have to pay a hefty penny to get one. I’d assume anyone who bought one will resell it to you for $350-650 USD.

Not something Apple ever released. So, very few in circulation. If I’m understanding correctly, don’t get your hopes set on obtaining one. Unless/until Apple does release it at some point in the future.

“But I’ve sent business your way”, seems like pretty weak justification for breaking an agreement, if one had previously agreed to keep the existence/purchase of an item quiet.

I have both of these and like them a lot. Actually this photo has inspired me to wear my pine green today!

I’ve been thinking of venturing into the world of sport loops for a while and was contemplating ordering the neon pink band from Apple but in the end decided to go with the hyper grape. Seems like a pretty iconic one to start with!

Any design reason you separated the Black and Blue Gens, but not Midnight Blue, Pink Sand, or Stone? Just my two cents, but when the Summer colors come it might be nice to separate those too. A lot of people use these as check lists and it’s cleaner to have both represented with their respective pin colors as well.

I wanted to be prepared for the next update, so started to do some research about the 1st/2nd gen bands you mentioned.

Stone: Check and done.
Pink Sand: Check and done.
Midnight Blue: MLL02 (Fall/2015) and MTPH2 (Fall/2018), but besides the fact Apple change the visual I don't see any difference in color here, or am I wrong, because it look completely different in real?

I don’t own the hyper grape either but it is definitely an epic color. I missed that one. I wasn’t into collecting bands yet at the time lol

It’s definitely blue. I double checked the old embassy purchase history and I did buy it NIB s blue. It’sa question of which gen.

You know that’s a really good point...by that logic...check out my pic...I’ve been working on my photoshop skills...look how weird I made my celestial teal band look...

I have always kept the box for my Apple things. They’re just nice! They’ll go when I resell my things, so I don’t just have a rando closet of Apple boxes.

You are awesome! Stone and Pink Sand have the biggest differences in my Opinion, followed by Black and then White. White Gen 2 is way closer to Soft White.

To your points about Midnight Blue, there are some posts in this thread about them On page 116 of this thread. You are right that they are indeed essentially the same. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to separate them just for the diehards out there since the Models are different. I personally don’t have both but will probably get around to it at some point just for completions sake.

Again, thanks so much for your hard work on these. I’ve been using the compact version all week to mark up to help me organize my collection!

Agreed! I keep all the boxes too plus the bands in them in a drawer. That’s part of the collecting. Excuse my current non impressive collection lol
