Anywho... some quick shots of the state of my collection before I leave most these babies at home while I go on vacation. Pretty proud of how far I’ve come in a year’s time. Not so proud of the money I’ve spent to get here though... I try not to think about it

Also, apologies for the lighting. Don’t exactly have a studio setup.

71 OEM bands with 4 more on the way. 5? I’m not sure. I’ve lost count. Probably for the best.

Pretty new to these- in fact I only just learned of them today, but it seems there are only about 4-5 people who got one, and the seller ran out nearly 8 months ago. You’d have to pay a hefty penny to get one. I’d assume anyone who bought one will resell it to you for $350-650 USD.

Which one is that all black looking woven nylon there on the right corner?

Close Your Rings 2018! Sorry, a bit tough to see the ring haha

To those who have the midnight turquoise/aurora green, can you post real life pics?

I’m not normally a big green person but this one is intriguing and I’m trying to decide. My other NSBs include royal pulse/black and platinum white/black.

I wonder if Apple will release a bright orange or pink NSB anytime soon.

Thx

Nice comparison shot against the Blue Orbit. I honestly wasn’t remotely interested in the Aurora Green band until I saw it on here. It’s up there with my favorites at this point. I kind of see it being one of the future higher resell bands because of the color pops Compared to say, the Lime Blast.

Hi there. They are selling the woven nylon berry in my city at $17-$18, they are all brand new and sealed. Is it a good deal?

I don't think so. I don't think there's demand for them.

Bright Orange Nike band?! That'd be great!

It's finally here: The newest version of the chart is now available for download. 🤩.
The all-new, built from scratch chart is the first one available in high-resolution as PDF with full-text search.

View attachment 921253.View attachment 921254

In the last couple of (very long) days I re-downloaded every single image of more than 350 bands officially released since 04/2015 and rearrange the bands while completed model numbers where possible. The arrangement of colors now more consistent with the updated version of v1 from @emiaj. (Thank you for the continuous updates!) New, better quality images of Woven Nylon International Edition were added as well. The (compact) chart is finally up-to-date. 🤗.

The chart is now available in two versions: A single-page PDF, and a more printer-friendly multi-page PDF with bands from Nike and Hermès on dedicated pages.

To "celebrate" I created a mini-website, where you can download the chart and where you can expect updates in a reasonable time after new bands are announced/released.

Don't worry. Of course, I will keep posting any new updates here, where everything started a while ago.

Download the new chart here: www.bandbreite.watch

Feel free to drop me a line with comments, suggestions and requests.

Know issues: Images are missing for Hermès Single Tour Étain Swift Leather (2015), Woven Nylon Pride Edition (2016) and Hermès Double Tour Médor Deep Blue (2020); Model numbers reflect mostly 42/44m only; Midnight Blue, Pink Sand, and Stone 2nd Gen will be added in the next update (Summer/2020)

There is someone selling a 2016 Apple Employee Pride band on eBay. You can grab a pic or 2 for your PDF. Link is below, if I did insert it correctly.

2016 Apple Employee Pride band

Hi, I'm new. I received my Nike Pride Band 3 days ago and I noticed a "strangeness". The shorter part of the band clicked right in, but the S/M part of the band (the one I use) just wouldn't click, it would continue to slide off the watch. I had to manually "center" the band to the watch and then I noticed that it wouldn't slide anymore (even if I don't clearly hear the "click" as for the upper half). I have to do this thing every time I put the band on, it's kind of annoying but at least I can use it eventually. Unfortunately I noticed that the M/L half of the band clicks perfectly in (but can't use it, too long for my tiny wrist) so it's just the S/M part that is clearly defective.

I was thinking about calling Apple to report the problem and ask for a replacement, but then I read that many people online had the same issue, so the replacement band could have the same problem or worse (someone can't get to click the band in at all, not even manually like I do).
So I'm kind of thinking to keep it the way it is. I hope it's safe for the watch though. It really sucks, for a 50 euros band I expected nothing but perfection. What do you think? Should I call Apple? Would Apple send me a new one if I do?

Thanks

This is a new thing for Apple bands. I've been buying them since late 2017 and never had any band not slide right in...until the Midnight Turquoise. Every time I put it on, I think I'm using a 3rd party band. I guess this is the new factory...thinner and don't slide in. I hope Apple gets enough complaints to figure out why they are not working properly. Return it and get a replacement. If it happens again, keep replacing. I've had the problem with the black and white spots on several bands and each replacement was perfect. Hope that is the case now.

Thanks! I have to admit I have this band in my collection, but struggled a little with the new high resolution of the chart and Photoshop. I was absolutely not satisfied with the result, and there's unfortunately no official image available. But I will figure it out before the next update.

you have one? NICE!!!!! Being a completist myself, I would love one, but that price on eBay is outta my reach. Especially being unemployed at the moment.

So I ended up getting one of the Sorbus cases, and they are really quite nice - good quality acrylic (not overly thin), drawers slide in and out nicely, and they’re a good size for holding bands. They’re also really hard to photograph.

Also, on an entirely different topic, we’ve had a few reports of bands that seem overly thin - I’m wondering if there’s anyone here who has received such a band, and also has a good digital micrometer. I know taking measurements of squishy items is difficult, but it’d be interesting to see if one can see an actual difference in the measurements.

I can't take measurements, but, when the bands came out in March, many commented on the difference. I wouldn't call them "overly" thin. Just a small difference. That's when I learned they moved to a different factory. Apparently, not only thinner, but, some bad lugs as well. All 3 of my sport bands work fine, but, the Midnight, has a poor sm. band with difficulty sliding in.

I've been buying bands since 2015 and it's not a new thing. It was always a rare thing, but it did ocassionally happen. I vividly remember the first batch of Woven Nylon bands having this problem for a number of people (me included). Went to the store where I got that particular band and showed them that it wouldn't click in, then the store manager tried to put it on his own Watch – and it worked. Very weird situation, but he eventually took it back.
