My setup

Im 14 and i have saved for many years for this setup

My Setup!!! BTW I'm 15 and payed for everything but the stereo (boosted from my sister) and Macbook (my dad's)! :) Just picked up the Z-Line Gemini from Staples. I plan to move the Vizio more into the center, and place my future iMac on the left side.

I've been workin on this setup for a good couple of months now. I saw this thread back in february and it convinced me to buy all sorts of fun stuff! :D

My hackintosh is on the floor with a 22" HDTV and a 17" LCD monitor attached

You can see the 12" iBook G3 in my girlfriend's lap (yes she has a single, hot sister :D)

There is a picture of my Ubuntu Server that resides in the closet (It's ugly lol)

And of course my new MacBook, networking gear, and pile o' cords/cables. My whole room is gigabit ethernet!

so is your G4 Power Mac a Hackintosh? how did you do that? does it have a mATX mobo?

and what does your girlfriend do… is she into IT too?

My girlfriend works at a gift boutique and does beauty pageants :)

And yes, that is a PowerMac G4 case with a hackintosh inside. Check out the link in my sig to see the whole process!

i have a question, what compaq is that and what version of ubuntu, because that looks like my server and i am running Cent OS 5 for my server and a partition for my time machine

What desk is that? I've been looking for something that would keep my laptop off my actual desk. I have a stand, but my desk is too narrow to have my Keyboard and MacBook Pro in a straight line.

Sorry for the two posts in a row. I didn't think before I posted. :eek:

We're both 18 ;), I'm sure she appreciates all the attention lol

And I'm too lazy to go check on what model the compaq is, but it's running Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop. I usually access everything over AFP (netatalk) and SSH. It shows up in Bonjour as an Xserve :D

Funny thing is, my MacBook cost more than my hackintosh+monitor+HDTV+Apple KB/M lol

its just a random desk i picked up from some superstore
