Ok, wow... i am still very suprised that ppl read that long boring guidelines thing, on any site that i have ever joined that required me to 'read' those, i just hit agree... i mean, if i actually had to read something that long and boring, i wouldn't even create the friggin account, i am so shocked that ppl actually read that stuff, i mean, if there was a shock - o - meter or something from 1 -10 i would have to say that i am at a 12 when i heard that ppl read those things
Even if you completely disregarded it, you still should have had the common sense to not post a pornographic image without checking the rules. And don't complain that nobody told you when you said that you read them. And don't complain about the punishment when you claim that you read the rules and would have known about the punishment if you had actually read them. And the forum rules here are not that long, it isn't any EULA, it is a page that takes about 3 minutes to read.

This is like a driver getting his license revoked for doing 100 mph in a 60 mph zone, and then complaining that nobody told him that speeding was illegal, while he (was supposed to) read the state's driver's manual and driving laws before getting his license and driving on a road.

Common guys, there's no reason to get all fussy over it. It's common on most websites like this that you only post things you wouldn't mind your kids seeing. Afterall there are members on this website that are 13 years old. :)

plz ignore my post right above this, i accidentally hit keybord and apparantly hit enter or something, here is my real post:

yeah, the mighty mouse is terrible, i just use a wireless kensington, the only negative thing is that i only have 2 usb ports on my macbook, and when using the mouse, i only have 1 port so i cant plug in printer, charge ipod, and use mouse at sametime, which is annoying, having to pull out cords and reinsert them again to print something

Dude, Buy a USB Hub or get yourself an Apple Keyboard and Mouse, run your macbook as a display, and use it as a desktop mac, the mac keyboard has two usb port on either side, whioch can be used for low power usb items, such as mice, maybe iPods, usb pen drives etc.

Regards :apple:

Here is my setup. Anymore info about it or me or how i can afford it, I will discuss, but that's only if you ask. And before this one gets asked, I am 16.

So... it's pretty self explanatory. I am a DJ artist and record tracks and do sets and what not, that's why my DJ stuff is photographed (it all connects) ;)

Everything:

Just the computer stuff:

TV stuff (HD set top box and DVD player with VHS):

DJ Stuff (more info on them just ask):

And who could forget my lovely massage chair :p

This is quite an old picture, quality isn't too great as it's from my phone but yeah. I don't have that much of a decent setup but it's alright for me. :p

Not as rich as you lot with your triple 60" cinema screens and your 500 mac pros. :(:(

Not all of us are rich, we just don't have anything better to spend our money on. Like, my hobby is photograghy. So I put all my money into my gear and my editing station.

Part/full time job and one hobby can do wonders...

I'm amazed by how many 14/15 year old kids have got multiple mac computers: where does the money for all those come from? I remember when I was a lad, and my dad brought home our first 133 MHz PC running windows '95 :p

That's awesome but it is wired right?

Yes, but you charge it. Thats why I like it. If it was wired and had to be connected to use it I would roll over the chords all the time. So I just charge it over night for use the next day. I can get like.... 8 hours off one charge and that when its massaging, so I really only charge it once a week. ;)

Computers are cheaper nowadays, plus due to minimum wage etc..., it's easier for people to make more money.

We don't have minimum wage here in Australia. Some of my friends get paid 6 Australian dollars an hour! Luckily I get paid 10 an hour, but I still think that may be under minimum wage?

I still have my precious 133 mhz mmx toshiba laptop, my grandpa "disposed" it to me when I was 10 (and yeah with windows 95). Now I'm running Linux on it.

FTW minimum wage for a 16 year old is here (in the Netherlands) €3,= or about $4.407 and I'm driving the friggin forklift!!!

In Chicago minimum wage is 7.65 I believe, I'm making full-time 15. But then again, remember how all us 14-15 year old's don't have to think about bills ;)

I make just over minimum wage, $7.00 an hour. I spend all my money on computers because I don't really have anything else to do with it. I don't really play video games or watch movies a lot. My parents are gracious enough to feed me, so I don't have to worry about that.

What about, like, going out, or hanging out with friends, etc, etc?

Are you kidding, most of the types hanging around here are geeks or people who always forgot to take their wallet (to save up for a new mac).

I like to consider myself as a geek because I still pay for my own drinks :)
