I guess they do have some fun shows. And that show that is playing in the picture is alright and she's kinda cute but her songs are so horrible and cheesy.

Please don't laugh :-\
The trophy seen in the second one (right?) is the one I won after winning the regional spelling bee and advancing to Washington D.C. .... ^_^
But the setup is pathetic because that old cabinet is really old, etc, I have a messy room. You know, basic 14-year old stuff...

If you don't want us to laugh, why tell us what the trophy is for? But I must congratulate you on knowing a bunch of long pointless words...
:D

(PS: Not really :p )

Oh, missed that one... but it's better than nothing. I'd rather have an emac than no emac.

its a pretty sweet setup too;)

i can understand how the 16+ guys can make enough money to get a MBP, etc... but i'm 15 and i cant even get a Mac even if i had the money. im so busy with school n stuff (stupid strict asian parents) that i can't really get a job or earn much money. although im finally get a macbook/pro at the end of the summer with the money i earned from remodeling my house's basement. still i can't understand how <14 kids can have like 2 or 3 macs

haha, this comes up alot in this thread. i know, most of the kids here have so many thousands of dollars in hardware that it makes me wonder how they do it. most of them claim to have purchased everything themselves, but i cant help but suspect from generous parents afoot

we don't have bills i guess...so it is easy to save money. ...i guess.
i payed for everythign but the macbook pro. which i worked for.

I am 14 and pay for everything myself. I have since I was about 10 years old. I'm working at a Tim Horton's. I have been working since Febuary and will be probably buying an MBP at the end of the summer and still have some money left over to go out and hang with friends and stuff. So please if yuo are hinting at us all being spoiled don't! I have worked for everything I own!

I'm 16 and I'm working towards my first Mac. My current PC was completely financed by yours truly (built it myself too :) ) but I need a laptop. I was pretty close to getting a Macbook but I couldn't help myself to a DS Lite and a few games :D

most of these kids should be focusing on school work and not macs, including me. do you all get good grades considering the amount of time you spend working? i dont work at all or have a mac yet and im one of the top 50 students in my sophmore class of 1,100. im in all the high-level classes like AP Physics and i dont get anything for good grades, my parents expect me to have straight A's.

these kids must be dealing drugs to afford all this stuff
What else would we be doing?

No, really, I have like 3 jobs. 1 is doing graphic/web work for my moms stores site. Another is random labour for my dad and his business. The last one is babysitting for my neighbors kid. My parents job pay $10.00 an hour (I have a lot of hours) and the neighbors pay a little less.

I'm happy.

EDIT: I was doing bad, then my parents said if you bring up your grades we will get you a MBP (well I asked if they could, because either way I needed a new computer, but I figured, it's a really expensive one so I should work for it.) Anyway since the offer, I brought my average up by 13%. I plan on keeping it that way for the rest of highschool.
