zephead; sorry dude but you can wait in line ... i've been suffering on 768MB on a Dell Optiplex GX260 (they no longer make this lineup anymore) with a 17 DELL LCD (not the new one with burn marks on the screen)and an 40GB HDD and only CD-RW drive (no DVD in this dinosaur) for years!
Whoa thats freaky lol.. I think that's the exact same computers we have at my school except for the 768MB RAM (those had 256). It was fun laughing at each other for getting blue-screened :D

Hey guys, well since I'm getting a MacBook Pro soon, my old desk does not have enough room for an iMac, a MacBook Pro and doing homework. SO yesterday I went to IKEA and got a new desk! So I have some pics, enjoy. Also, when I order the MacBook Pro I'm going to order a apple wireless mouse and keyboard, this way everything will look amazing together.

Lol, the keyboard came with a wireless mouse too for like 40$ alltogether, becuase i spilled coffee on the apple keyboad, and the mouse was not working, and the wireless microsoft mouse doesnt work anymore. But the MBP with an iCurve will look awesome, and so will the new wireless mouse and keyboard.

Thanks.

There has been lots of talk but not many pictures posted in this thread lately, so here's an updated picture of my modest but nice setup.

Why does everyone keep talking about IKEA? I have never been to an IKEA store but it sounds like some expesive store that charges like $80 for a block of wood.

www.ikea.com

IKEA is a massive, massive Swedish furniture company with dozens of retail stores across the globe.

I'm headed to the Dallas, TX store myself in a few weeks.

They have AMAZING things for low prices. Looks at the change in my desk for like 150$.
